½d green No Monogram block of 9 from the L/R of the sheet ACSC #1(1)za, guillotined close at the base, unmounted; and with the Watermark Inverted 'JBC' Monogram irregular strip of 3 #1a(2)zd, redistributed gum. [The ACSC states "one JBC monogram piece with watermark inverted exists", Cat $5000. That was Arthur Gray's corner strip of 3 that sold in 2007 for US$4887]

1d red imperf plate proof single in the issued colour on thin buff card ACSC #2PP(1)A, Cat $250.
1d red Die I with the Watermark Sideways (Crown Pointing Left) ACSC #2ab (SG 2aw) block of 4 [39-40/45-46], the second unit with Large White Flaw to West of Tasmania (Second State) #2(B)fa, the third unit before appearance of Break in WA Coastline, the first unit with a tiny spot of gum disturbance otherwise full unmounted o.g., Cat $12,750++ (£6400++ for mounted) for singles. An exceptional item of great rarity. [For the Sideways Watermark, this is the only recorded multiple with a major variety]
1d red Die I (short corner perf at U/L) on apparently commercial cover with 'H Best, Masseur' imprint on the flap & tied by superb impression of the Melbourne Krag machine cancel of 4JAN13, being the First Day of Issue in Melbourne, minor tonespots. [The ACSC states at least eleven FDCs cancelled at Sydney 2.1.1913 are recorded, Cat $15,000. Melbourne FDCs are probably scarcer but are neither listed nor priced]
1d red with 'Large Crack' extending from Top to Bottom Margin ACSC #4(G)La, Hobart machine cancel largely clear of the crack, Cat $750. [This is an intermediate state; the crack is at its greatest extension but is still quite fine]

4d yellow-orange ACSC #15E (SG 6a) marginal example from the base of the sheet, excellent centring, unmounted, Cat $2500 (£500 for mounted). Superb! Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2009).
1/- emerald with the Watermark Inverted ACSC #320a (SG 11w) marginal example from the right of the sheet, horrid centring but unmounted, Cat $4000 (£1500) mounted.
2/- brown marginal block of 4 from the left of the right-hand pane, CTO with Melbourne cds of DE3/13 ACSC #35wb, Cat $1200++ as singles. A rare multiple.
10/- grey & pink, excellent centring, slight wrinkle, Cat $2000 (£900).
10/- grey & pink, excellent centring, a few nibbled perfs, CTO AP15/13, Cat $1700 (£700 for postally used).
£1 brown & blue, very well centred, the gum a little yellowed, very lightly mounted, Cat $4500 (£3000).
