British Commonwealth in carton with albums containing Australian Colonies, some Roos and KGV, QEII Territories in album, Aden 1951 New Currency opts to 10/- (*), QV-QEII issues for Cyprus including QEII to £1 (*), Hong Kong, Jamaica, Malaya with KGVI to $5 used including 'B.M.A.' overprints, Malta including KGVI to 10/- used (the 5/- with Semaphore Flaw), Mauritius, Eritrea 1943 'M.E.F.' overprints on GB 6d-2/6d FDC addressed to Massawa, New Zealand, Straits Settlements KGV to $5, etc, many 1935 Silver Jubilee issues, condition mixed, inspection may reward. Trans-Atlantic per various carriers mostly between Latin America, USA & Germany including from Bahamas, Antigua, Panama, Guatemala, Uruguay etc, lots of huge cachets & a few apparently commercial items including from Curacao with anti-Nazi propaganda cachet & USA-Colombia by surface & internal air with SCADTA 50c 'EU' Overprint, also includes 1923 (Mar 23) Bahamas-New York endorsed "via Aeroplane", condition variable.
Trans-Pacific per PanAm mostly between USA & New Zealand but including a few intermediates & some scarce commemorative types, noted NZ-Belgium consular cover with boxed 'NEW ZEALAND-USA/FIRST AIR MAIL/DECEMBER 1937' in violet (rare; most were struck in red), a few apparently commercial items including 1945 US Forces cover from 'PAGO PAGO' (soiled & repaired tear), mostly fine to very fine.
Trans-Pacific per PanAm FAM 14 mostly between USA & Hawaii, Philippines & Hong Kong with a few intermediates & extension covers, several are registered, lots of huge cachets & a few apparently commercial items, also post-WWII mostly commercial covers x8 from & between US Trust Territories, mostly fine to very fine.
NEW ZEALAND: Small group including Maori real photo cards x3, 'RMS Makura' real photo, 'RMS Marama' WWI Allies War Relief Fund concert triplet cards x3 different each with top panel showing Union Steamship Co view of Grand Canyon and the lower panels listing the program, etc, a few with minor blemishes.
NEW ZEALAND: 1908 'King Edward VII/Land' Overprint in Green on Royle Printing 1d carmine SG A1 with faint 'SPECIMEN' handstamp in violet, characteristic rough perfs, affixed to a small piece, Cat £475+ (mint). Rare. Ex Natal Postal Archives. BPA Certificate (1981).
COCOS ISLANDS - Postal History
1950-51 south-bound barrel covers each with boxed 'TIN CAN MAIL/COCOS-KEELING IS' h/s in violet to New Zealand, Perth or London with Australian 2½d 3½d or 1/6d tied by Perth slogan cancels, the second with filing holes, the third with an amateurish repair.
Selection with Federation mint & used sets plus 10d forgery 'used', set on cover to 'PAPEETE' (b/s; the 10d damaged), and 1893-1900 Perf 11 set SG 11-20a blocks of 4 including listed shades of the 1½d 2d 2½d 6d & 1/-, generally very fine, Cat £2000+, plus the cover.

Attractive mostly unused/mint array including Federation x3 sets (one used), better Makea & Torea Definitives including 2d with Baby in Beak (used) & 2½d rose Irregular Compound Perfs SG 8ab (Cat £3000; no certificate), 1901 Crown Overprint that looks suspect, Pictorials with a few imperf plate proofs, Arms to £1 x3, etc, condition variable.
1920 two registered covers to Sweden 1) with 1d red & 10d x3; and 2) with 1/- carmine single & pair.
Proofs comprising Chalons 2d to 1/- reprinted die proofs in unissued colours; Penny Universal imperf in indigo with 'WATERLOW & SONS LTD/SPECIMEN' overprint in red; KEVII ½d perf & 1/- imperf (faults) plate proofs both in black; Booklets KGV Typo ½d & Dominion 1d imperf panes of 6 in black; also Aitutaki 1903 ½d to 1/- each with diagonal parallel lines in lieu of 'SPECIMEN' overprint, the 6d & 1/- are oxidised.
