Bulk used accummulation including Kangaroos & KGV Heads in quantity, then Pre-Decimals & Decimals, some set out on pages, others loose in glassines, potential postmark interest, also Postage Dues, Booklets & M/Ss CTO, a few mint plus a box of FDCs, mostly fine. Weighs 10kg. Lots of fun in here!
Eclectic accumulation including bundle of Avoca Township Waterworks Trust documents many with Victoria 1d Stamp Duty revenues affixed (100+), a few covers etc noted 1915-19 State Rivers & Water Supply Commission postcards x7 with KGV ½d green (2), 1d red (2) & 1½d brown (3), then quantity of Pre-Decimals & Decimals used sorted into envelopes, couple of albums with some foreign also, condition variable but mostly fine.
Used accumulation mostly Decimals but including small group of Colonies noted Victoria 3d 6d & 1/- values with postmark interest, a few worldwide also, condition variable. Weighs 11kg.
Huge accumulation with used Kangaroos & KGV Heads then later in quantity including some on paper, Decimals mint in packets & Yearbooks with substantial face value, big hoard of FDCs and PSEs heavily duplicated in places, lots of commemorative cancels plus some unused, noted 1970 Expo, Royal Visit & Grasslands official Australia Post FDCs unaddressed, also Worldwide including Australian Territories, NZ, GB, Fiji, Gilberts/Kiribati extensive 1976-80s mint collection with official & specimen overprints (lots of thematic interest), Europe & USA in old albums, etc, also small box of coins including a few Uncirculated sets, condition variable but mostly fine. Weighs 96kgs. Leave lots of time to view this one.
POSTAL NOTES: c.1959 with 'INITIALS OF PAYING OFFICER' Deleted from the Reverse (leaving a rectangular void at lower-right) 'N.S.W.' 10/-, 'NARRANDERA/17OC60'N.S.W' (no arcs; SDL). [The rarest type in the post-WWII period]

ONE PENNY: Varieties accumulation with many Penny Reds, annotated & set out in one stockbook by pane and quantity of similar in another stockbook, a few commercial perfins, possible postmark interest, with Gordon Monk's 'Variety Catalogue', plus Single-Line Perf on 1914 cover front and Penny Engraved reconstructed left-margin imprint strip *, condition generally fine. Opportunity for further research.

1928 International Philatelic Exhibition Kookaburra M/S complete sheet of 15 sheetlets (5x3) on greyish paper, CTO with the Exhibition cds in red (the upper row), in blue (the middle row), or in both red and blue (the lower row) ACSC #133MSw & wb, full unmounted o.g., Cat $6750+. Most unusual & desirable.

KGV 1d red Star mostly Post Office issues with variety of dies & different paper stocks including ½d green + 1d red 'doubleton' on buff stock, also STO for Adelaide Electric, Vacuum Oil (faults), Howard Smith (long format; aging marks) and Vacuum Oil (Adelaide) ½d green + 1d red 'doubleton' (central fold), plus KGV 1d Sideface Die I envelope STO for Barrow Brothers and KGV 1d green 'Stars' envelopes STO for Adelaide Co-Op & Percy Lawrence, condition quite variable used.

MELB' (trams), 'CAIRNS RAILWAY/QUEENSLAND' (bridge & waterfall) x2 (rectangular & framed oval with 'SADDLEWORTH/SA' squared circle) and 'CENTRAL RLY STN/BRISBANE' x4 (rectangular, framed oval, unframed oval & Without Sky retouch), a few blemishes but mostly fine.
1914-18 KGV Sideface 1d unused group of all-different railway & tramway-related views comprising 'COLLINS ST/MELBOURNE' (vertical; trams), 'CITY COURT MELBOURNE' (tram), 'PALL MALL, BENDIGO, VIC' (tram), 'RUNDLE ST ADELAIDE', 'PORT PIRIE/STH AUSTRALIA' (smelter & railway carriages), 'MURRAY BRIDGE SA' (railway bridge; pin holes on address side), 'A BLUE GUM LOG/TASMANIA' (on railway carriages; 'EUDUNDA/SA' squared circle), 'ALBERT BRIDGE/QUEENSLAND' and 'RAILWAY SLEEPERS/QUEENSLAND' (Die II), plus Military View '2nd AIF EMBARKING' (railway tracks on pier), a few blemishes but mostly fine.

[The commercial papers rate was 1d per 2oz + ½d War Tax]

Commercial pieces with scarce/rare frankings comprising 1) linen parcel tag piece to "Garden Island/Sydney" with First Wmk 2/- brown (Cat $4000 on cover) & 2d grey tied by 'SOUTH MELBOURNE/JA22/14/VIC' cds; 2) 1913 with First Wmk 1d pair + Victoria 3d pair tied by 'RAINBOW/VIC' cds; 3) 1913 with 3d Roo + Tasmania 1/-; 4) 1916 with KGV 4d orange pair + Second Wmk 1/- in a dull grey-green shade; and 5) 1916 with Second Wmk 1/- irregular block of 5 in an almost grey shade (colour changeling?); the last two tied by scarce rubber 'PARCEL POST/17MAY1916/ ADELAIDE' d/s (ERD)

1930s-60s meter cancels on covers including some illustrated envelopes and/or cancels noted 'IXL Jam' tin, 'Waste Not ... Save Water' tap, 'Dial ...' telephone, etc, quite a few early types from the 1930s including Melbourne 'Centenary Celebrations', also batch of 1950s Perth proof impressions, wide variety of merchants, condition generally fine. Lots of thematic interest & excellent basis for expansion.
