A very good mostly unused lot with Postal Cards including Kangaroo 1d to a POW in Germany & KGV 1d violet punctured 'OS/NSW' (used), Letter Cards including KGV 1d 'TROOPS on board/TRANSPORT' (bow; 'A25' excised) x2 and 2d scarlet 'GOVERNMENT HOUSE/PERTH' & 'GPO HOBART' (used), a superb KGV 1d 'MILITARY ENVELOPE' with 'AUSTRALIAN IMPERIAL FORCE' at the base, etc, generally fine to very fine.

Pre-KGVI group including Kangaroo ½d & 1d, KGV 1d red, 1d red with "NEWSPAPER ONLY" h/s of Perth, 'NEWSPAPER ONLY' 1d red, 1d violet & 1d green Die 1 and Die 2 on Laid Paper (light stain), and a few others, generally fine to very fine unused, Cat $1550.
Pre-KGVI group used within Australia x11 or to Canada (a repaired front only), GB x4, Gemany, Holland x2 (including KGV ½d with "NEWSPAPER ONLY" h/s of Perth), New Zealand x2 & USA x2 (including STO KGV 1d Die 3, a bit aged), various rates, mostly fine to very fine.
Useful group comprising KGV 1d red ACSC #W4 unused (shortened), 1d green Die 2 on Laid Paper #W13 unused & Die 3 #W14d used to GB, KGVI 1½d #W21 unused & used to USA, and QEII 2½d indigo with 'SPECIMEN' Overprint #W28w, Cat $1400.
Unused group comprising Roo ½d x2 & 1d, Sideface ½d x2 & 1d x3, ½d+½d x3, 1d violet x2, 1924 1d green Die 1 x2, 1927 1d green Dies 1 & 3, 1d Queen Mother, KGVI ¾-Face 1½d and Sideface 1½d green both sizes, some paper differences, plus some later issues, fine to very fine, Cat $2250 plus the later issues.
OFFICIAL: 1913 Kangaroo ½d green with underlined 'OHMS' Overprint (19x3mm) to Terowie or (28x5mm) to Hahndorf ACSC #W1e & ea, both with Adelaide cds, Cat $500. The large overprint is much scarcer & underrated.
OFFICIAL: OFFICIAL: 1918 KGV 1d with 'OS'-of-Dots in the Die & printed 'Commercial/Papers' ACSC #WO1A (275mm wide) for the Victorian Education Department with KGV ½d green punctured 'OS' tied by 'TATURA/6AU19/VIC' cds in blue, unfolded & remarkably fine, Cat $750. [The commercial papers rate was 1d per 2oz + ½d War Tax]
OFFICIAL: 1919 KGV 1d red with Solid 'OS'-in-the-Die ACSC #WO2 with Deputy Commissioner of Maternity Allowances imprint at L/L, locally used with Adelaide machine cancel of 26AUG21, Cat $1250.
STAMPED TO ORDER: Selection comprising Kangaroo 2½d deep blue/white ACSC #WS5 for Davies Brothers (Hobart) cutout only (no complete wrappers recorded), KGVI 1½d+1½d ACSC #WS26 uprated with ½d Roo to Singapore, KGVI 3d #WS30 (262mm wide) uprated with ½d Roo, Sydney Stock Exchange QEII 2½d, 5d indigo, 5d light blue, 5d red (front only), 4c (front only) & 5c #WS34-39, and Sideface 1d red with 'OS' of Dots-in-the-Die #WO1 (257mm wide) uprated with KGV ½d green, a few with faults, Cat $2600. Scarce group.

1920 KGV 1d red Wrapper from Sydney to Adelaide with 'GPO ADELAIDE/This wrapper was received without con-/tents...' label affixed with oval 'DELIVERY WINDOW/GPO ADELAIDE' d/s in magenta, minor blemishes.
CHINA - Postal History
POSTAL STATIONERY: Postal Cards Junk 1c green unused & used 1915 from 'PEKING'; 1c orange used 1923 with Junk ½c & 1c added tied 'PEIPING'; 1½c blue used with 'WUCHANG' cds; 2c green used x2 one with Junk ½c added and 'HANGHSIEN/SHANGHAI' arrival (minor staple holes); and 4c red with Sinkiang Province overprint unused; also Shanghai Local Post Wrappers 1c 1½c & 2c and Postal Cards 1c brown & 2c violet plus same with '1843 1893/ Jubilee' overprints in red all unused, condition variable but mostly fine.
AUSTRALIAN COLONIES - General
POSTAL STATIONERY: Range from all Colonies/States, mostly pedestrian but better items include South Australian Registration Envelope (minor toning), Queensland Letter Cards, Tasmanian Letter Card 'GREAT LAKE...' (superb) & STO Envelopes, Victoria Fleet cards, etc, condition variable & most of the Reply Cards have been 'jiggered'.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA - Postal History
WRAPPERS: 1911 with Flat-Top 'A's in 'SOUTH [arms] AUSTRALIA' ½d emerald, fine local usage in 1912.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA - Travelling Post Offices
GREAT SOUTHERN RAILWAY: 22½mm 'TRAVELLING POST OFFICE/AP22//GSR WA' (no year slug) largely very fine transit b/s on Tasmanian OHMS wrapper with scarce 'GOVERNMENT STATISTICIAN/...' frank stamp in black.

WRAPPERS: 1903 Single-Lined Borders ½d emerald with 106mm Between the Lines Pope #WR3.1 to Scotland uprated with ½d grey-green tied by light 'CLAREMONT' cds, Cat $400.
