[The ACSC states "one JBC monogram piece with watermark inverted exists", Cat $5000. That was Arthur Gray's corner strip of 3 that sold in 2007 for US$4887] (Qty 2 items)

1d red Die I with the Watermark Sideways (Crown Pointing Left) ACSC #2ab (SG 2aw) block of 4 [39-40/45-46], the second unit with Large White Flaw to West of Tasmania (Second State) #2(B)fa, the third unit before appearance of Break in WA Coastline, the first unit with a tiny spot of gum disturbance otherwise full unmounted o.g., Cat $12,750++ (6400++ for mounted) for singles. An exceptional item of great rarity. [For the Sideways Watermark, this is the only recorded multiple with a major variety]

1d red Die I (short corner perf at U/L) on apparently commercial cover with 'H Best, Masseur' imprint on the flap & tied by superb impression of the Melbourne Krag machine cancel of 4JAN13, being the First Day of Issue in Melbourne, minor tonespots. [The ACSC states at least eleven FDCs cancelled at Sydney 2.1.1913 are recorded, Cat $15,000. Melbourne FDCs are probably scarcer but are neither listed nor priced]
