COUNTER-PRINTED STAMPS: 2016 Adelaide Emergency Printing 30c Type B ('2016' printed 7mm from edge of stamp) strip of 5 - missing Two Kangaroos - all with '30c Australia 2016' Disturbed as a result of the text having first been Printed Inverted & Albino in the same space! The only examples we have seen: sold at our auction of 19.5.2018 for $2213. [When inclined to the light, the albino impressions are very obvious]
NB: Gibbons have now listed the straight stamps as SG 4492-7, but not priced them mint or used. Like it or not, whichever way you look at it, these stamps are by far the scarcest over-the-counter issue ever released by the Post Office.

1911-12 KGV Fullface 1d 1911-12 KGV Fullface 1d used group of all-different railway & tramway-related views in various colours comprising 'VIADUCT/NEAR ADELAIDE SA', 'MONTEZUMA FALLS, HOBART' (train on bridge), 'COLLINS ST. MELB' (trams) with 'BALAKLAVA/SA' squared circle, 'LOG TRAIN/JARRAH FOREST WA', 'CENTRAL RLY STN/SYDNEY' (error for Brisbane), 'CAIRNS RAILWAY/QUEENSLAND' with 'TERANG/VICTORIA-254' duplex cancel, and 'ALBERT BRIDGE/QUEENSLAND', a couple with blemishes but condition generally fine.
1911-12 KGV Fullface 1d first line ending '...any' on Ivory Surfaced Stock ACSC #LC4 'SHEEP STATION/WIMMERA SA' (error for Victoria), used to GB, minor blemishes, Cat $400. Very scarce view, from a small print-run.
1911-12 KGV Fullface 1d Rouletted ACSC #LC5 'BOTANIC GARDENS/ADELAIDE SA' in blue, intact but the viewside a bit grubby, unused, Cat $1000.
1913-14 Kangaroo 1d used group of all-different railway & tramway-related views comprising 'COLLINS ST. MELB' (trams), 'CAIRNS RAILWAY/QUEENSLAND' (bridge & waterfall) x2 (rectangular & framed oval with 'SADDLEWORTH/SA' squared circle) and 'CENTRAL RLY STN/BRISBANE' x4 (rectangular, framed oval, unframed oval & Without Sky retouch), a few blemishes but mostly fine.
1914-18 KGV Sideface 1d unused group of all-different railway & tramway-related views comprising 'COLLINS ST/MELBOURNE' (vertical; trams), 'CITY COURT MELBOURNE' (tram), 'PALL MALL, BENDIGO, VIC' (tram), 'RUNDLE ST ADELAIDE', 'PORT PIRIE/STH AUSTRALIA' (smelter & railway carriages), 'MURRAY BRIDGE SA' (railway bridge; pin holes on address side), 'A BLUE GUM LOG/TASMANIA' (on railway carriages; 'EUDUNDA/SA' squared circle), 'ALBERT BRIDGE/QUEENSLAND' and 'RAILWAY SLEEPERS/QUEENSLAND' (Die II), plus Military View '2nd AIF EMBARKING' (railway tracks on pier), a few blemishes but mostly fine.
1925 KGV Sideface 1Â½d Scarlet Unsurfaced Grey Stock ACSC #LC55 'MT LOFTY RANGES/SOUTH AUSTRALIA' with Plate Deterioration at Left in the Bushes, unused, Cat $300.

1956-65 QEII Smaller Die 3½d orange ACSC #PS33 on bright yellow for Goldsborough Mort Stock Agents (SA) uprated with ½d & 1d but unused, Cat $1500. Superb! [The uprating was to the 5d rate that was introduced 1.10.1959. The ACSC states that only one other unused 3½d card is recorded]

OFFICIAL: 1919 KGV 1d red with Solid 'OS'-in-the-Die ACSC #WO2 with Deputy Commissioner of Maternity Allowances imprint at L/L, locally used with Adelaide machine cancel of 26AUG21, Cat $1250.

1913 1913 to Germany with hand-drawn decorative address and combination franking of South Australia 1d red pair and Kangaroos ½d green all tied 'MARRABEL/OC25/13/S.A' Squared-Circle d/s to pay 2½d foreign rate, couple of minor blemishes.
1917 registered to Michigan, USA with lovely three-colour franking KGV ½d green, 1d red & 4d lemon (ACSC #110B; Cat $600 on cover) tied 'PETERSBURG/MR1/17/S.A' squared-circle also struck on large blank red 'R' label alongside, censored with 'PASSED' cachet on face, Adelaide and 'SEATTLE' b/s. PO 31.12.1880; renamed Peterborough 1.7.1918. [During World War I, many Germanic placenames were anglicised or otherwise changed]
1920 KGV 1d red Wrapper from Sydney to Adelaide with 'GPO ADELAIDE/This wrapper was received without con-/tents...' label affixed with oval 'DELIVERY WINDOW/GPO ADELAIDE' d/s in magenta, minor blemishes.
1929 to WA with Airmail 3d, KGV SMult Wmk Perf 13½x12½ ½d orange and Perf 14 4d olive (ACSC #115; Cat $400 on cover) tied 'UNLEY' (SA) cds paying 1½d letter rate + 3d airmail surcharge + 3d registration, red R label, 'NORTH PERTH' arrival b/s, couple of minor blemishes.
