1944-51 Commemorative flownaerogrammes on display leaves from 1944 BOAC/QANTAS Liberator with red overprint x2, 1944 QANTAS Christmas Greetings (minor edge fault & light bend), 1945 Lancastrian with & without overprint x2 the first signed "OFY Thomas" & "K Jackson", 1946 Singapore with purple overprint signed "A Furze" & "J Moxham", 1946 Kangaroo Route with red overprint plus return flight GB Airletter signed "HG Mills", "K Jackson" & "O Mant", 1946 Canada overprinted 'TRANS-PACIFIC...' (grubby), 1951 New Zealand overprinted 'TASMAN EMPIRE AIRWAYS...', mostly fine to very fine.
Eclectic group mostly Queensland (hardly any Brisbane) noted 1909 'Church of England, Ipswich', some real photo cards including 'Central State School, Mackay' & 'Gray Street, Crow's Nest', various Townsville & Islands scenes, also Sydney 'Book Post' panorama cards x8, then lots of 'moderns' from the 1950s onwards, etc, condition variable but mostly fine.

Southern & Western Railway: 'TPO No 3 S&WR/DOWN 11JY21/QUEENSLAND' three poor to part-strikes & rare red & black/white 'TPO No 3 WEST' R label, to New Zealand, minor blemishes.
QUEENSLAND - Postal Stationery - Envelopes (PTPO)
1897 Four Figures 1d red & 2d blue HG KB4a & 5 both on buff stock for New Zealand Insurance Co with different banners & Maori illustrations, the 1d with a few faults used in 1910, the 2d slightly reduced at left used in 1905. A rare pair. [Illustrated at pages 106 & 107]
WESTERN AUSTRALIA - Postal History
1911 cover with 3d & Perf 11 1d cancelled at Kalgoorlie, Perth straight-line 'POSTED OUT OF COURSE' h/s in violet and, oval 'REGISTERED/PERTH WA' d/s & red/white R label, to New Zealand with superb 'NZ/INVERCARGILL/ REGISTERED' transit & similar Dunedin arrival b/s, a bit aged & light central stain. A very scarce usage.
Worldwide collection remainders with a stockbook of Canada, Fiji with KGVI 5d Blue Canes and a couple of booklets, GB used in three stockbooks, New Zealand with Postal Fiscals QV 2/- and Arms 7/-, PNG with 10/- Rabaul x3 & £1 Fisherman, also Australia Pre-Decimals * and Decimals used on expensive hingeless pages, some FDCs & PSEs, condition mixed but many fine. Weighs 24kg.
Postal History group with a passable GB Penny Black Plate 9 on Irish outer, Norfolk Island 1935 to NZ with 2d ANZAC, Newfoundland flight cover to GB with Dornier $1.50 on $1, New Zealand 1893 internal cover with ½d Newspaper Stamp x4, Liechtenstein 1960 Europa & 1965 10fr x4 M/S on unaddressed First Day Covers, etc; also some Postal Stationery including Australia KGV 1d red 'MILITARY ENVELOPE' unused x6 (flaps stuck), etc, condition variable.

Consignment remainders including New Zealand 2½d blue with Adverts on Reverse six pairs & three strips of 3 (Cat £336+), Papua 1½d 'OS' sheet of 40, New Hebrides pieces torn from commercial covers (weep!) but with three remaining covers to South Australia cancelled in violet (1938), with 'PAQUEBOT/SYDNEY' cds (1939) or '.../INTER-ISLAND' cds (1941), Egypt WWI packet to NSW with 'FRIENDS OF/ARMENIA' cachet in red, German States selection with some very attractive stamps (STC €3500+), etc, condition variable.
Array with no British cards, many better types some with plain backs (proofs?) including a group from Johore featuring a traffic bingle, includes a gorgeous German series 'BERLINER TYPEN', much better than average US section with only a few 'linens' & many automobile types including Ford advertising, very fine Japan & China (one to Melbourne with Large Dragons franking), India, Canada, Egypt, New Zealand, etc, generally fine to superb.

Remainders of an original collection in four decrepit albums and loose, mostly 'ladies subjects' with Children including by May Gibbs & Mabel Lucie Attwell, Humour, Greetings, Animals, Bamforths, Actresses including a Shirley Temple group, other better cards including Australian bush artists & 1907 Empire Day, some New Zealand with a few 1906-07 Christchurch Exhibition types, etc, condition variable but most are fine to very fine unused or used.
NEW ZEALAND: Attractive group of topographicals including a Volcanic Eruption, Auckland, Wellington, etc, a few Undivided Backs, Kerry Series 54 'Geysers & Hot Springs' x10 (superb unused), etc, generally fine to very fine.
NEW ZEALAND: 1926 Hugh & GK Neill Dunedin Exhibition real photo PPC of crowd in front of entrance to the Amusements Section with Exhibition ½d green & 4d violet tied to the viewside by 'DUNEDIN EXHIBTION/22MR26/NZ' cds. Great shot!
