2016 Adelaide Emergency Printing 30c Koala on the Ground + '70c Salisbury 2015' in the same design tied to local philatelic cover by cancels of 29FEB16 (Leap Year).

[This was the last date on which the Monarch printer used to produce the text was used]

1938-50 KGVI Oval 1d brown ACSC #PS28(2) on white for Spectacle Makers Pty Ltd (NSW) uprated with ½d Roo tied by part-machine cancel, message dated "7/10/1947", Cat $3000. Superb! Illustrated in the ACSC. [The ACSC states this is the only recorded example]
1966 New Currency 4c scarlet ACSC #PS38 with 'OHMS' heading & 'CONTROL YOUR DOG - FEED NO OFFAL' at base, 'HYDATIDS LIMITATION PROGRAMME' heading on reverse, unused. Rare & unpriced unused; Cat $500 used. A key Decimal issue.

1940 (Nov 7) large envelope (305x240mm) with rare franking of Kangaroos £1 grey (with smudged thumbprint; undercatalogued at $4000 on cover) + Robes 5/- & 10/- and 9d Platypus all tied by 'GPO SYDNEY/ AIR /7NO40/ 1 / NSW-AUST' cds, 'CALIFORNIA/CLIPPER' h/s in violet x2, opened for inspection & resealed with plain brown paper plus a single standard Censor label & two strikes of Sydney Passed cachet in violet, three folds well clear of the stamps, repaired opening tears on the reverse. [Only the second £1 Roo cover we have handled]
1982-88 Reptiles & Amphibians plus 1983 Endangered Species usages accumulation with all values represented including single, multiple & mixed frankings, many overseas airmails plus some on postcards & stationery, noted 1c single on untaxed airmail cover & 70c single on large OHMS envelope, illustrated tourism covers, registered, AR & overseas express delivery, etc.

1941 Forces in Greece comprising cover (from Servia) & Active Service "honour" envelope (endorsed on the reverse "Kazani/N Greece) with '1ST BGE HQ PO/M1' cds of 28MR41 or 2AP41, cover with 'DIV HQ PO/13AP41/DM1' cds at Elasson, 'DIV SUPPLY HQ PO/11AP41/SWL' cds at Gerania, & Active Service "honour" envelope with 'RAILHEAD PO/5AP41/RM1' at Gerania, all with 9d Platypus, minor faults/repairs, censor h/s double-boxed 224 225 or 228, British 1916 or triple-circle 'PASSED BY UNIT/ 18 /CENSOR' h/s of the type used only by the AIF in Greece & Crete. [NB: Most postal devices used in Greece were lost in the course of the evacuation]
1941 Forces in Crete airmail cover with 9d Platypus tied by '3RD BGE HQ PO/6MY41/M1' cds in use in Crete, square 'PASSED - BY - UNIT/276/CENSOR' h/s, endorsed on the reverse "From N Hill" (location?). [After leaving Greece, the Australian forces regrouped near Retima on Crete. However, on 21/5/1941, the Germans launched a decisive airborne attack]
1915 (c.) May Gibbs 'We'll keep the Billy boiling, dear, till you come marching home' illustration of Kangaroo & Joey tending the fire, insignificant blemishes, unused with plain back (proof?). Rare.

1888-90 Centennial 1/- violet-brown Imperforate single as SG 258ca from the base of the sheet, large-part o.g., Cat £1400 for a pair. Ex "Carrington" (Mark Dankin). [Our vendor states that only this single & two pairs are recorded. Not to be confused with SG 312a, which turns up regularly]
REVENUES - IMPRESSED STAMP DUTY: 1877 original artwork for the 10/- & £5 Platypus designs in pencil on yellow tracing paper (88x114mm) numbered "9" or "11" in red at upper-right & both with '22 MAR 77' h/s at upper-central. Unique! Ex De La Rue Archives.
