Neatly presented mostly used collection with 1858-59 including Type II 2kr 3kr 10kr & 15kr all apparently unused and "St Andrew's Cross" labels in yellow red brown & blue (all with faults), 1860-61 3kr 5kr & 15kr all apparently unused plus used 2kr x5 & 3kr x6, seven pages of Newspaper Tax stamps including 1853 2kr green x4, etc; also Lombardy & Venetia with Imperf set (the 5c a bit aged), 1858-62 simplified set, Arms Perf 14 set & Perf 9½ set (the 2sol is unused), Imperial Journal 2kr & 4kr, etc; POs in the Ottoman Empire largely complete on a simplified basis including 1867-83 Coarse Beard set & Fine Beard set to 25sol, 1914 20pa/pink with Beirut cds, etc; French Currency for use in Crete selection including 1908 set, 1914 Coloured Papers 10c (dubious cancel) & 25c with Constantinopel cds, etc; generally fine to very fine with strong postmark interest, substantial catalogue value (stated to exceed £15,000). An excellent basis for serious development.

MARSHALL ISLANDS - NAURU: 1909 commercial cover (front only) to Austria with 10pf & 20pf tied by two light but clear strikes of the Nauru cds, 'Nauru/(Marshall Ins.)' registration label with the number amended as was common practice.

SHIP-BOARD POSTMARKS: Austrian 'LLOYD AUSTRIACO' cds on QV issues, one with '[X]XXVII' at the base, one with '[X]LVI' ("Selene") at the base, the two without number are in blue. Rare on Straits stamps.
SHIP-BOARD POSTMARKS: German Seepost cds mostly part-strikes on various QV & KEVII issues with Ost-Asiatische Hauptlinie x23 plus superb strike on German 10pf on PPC from Penang; '.../BOMBAY/LINIE' on 8c blue; & faint but discernible '.../NEU-/GUINEA/ZWEIGLINIE/(SINGAPORE)'.

INWARDS MAIL: 1905 (stamp missing) & 1910 PPCs from Japan, 1908 uprated 5h Postal Card from Moravia (Austria) with full message, a very fine 1919 cover from Switzerland, and a very spotty 1909 uprated KEVII 1d Envelope from New Zealand.
WESTERN UKRAINE: 1918 (Dec 12) Kolomyia Surcharges on Austria '5' (sotyk) on 15h to '10' (sotyk) on 12h Scott #5-8, a few minor blemishes, large-part o.g., Cat $US3500 (2012).
