OFFSHORE ISLANDS: Album with a rather scattered collection of cards with some better subjects but the strength is in the postmarks including Jersey 1907 'ST MARTINS', 1905 'ST MARYS' & 1905 'FIVE-OAKS', Guernsey 1931 'GUERNSEY (ST PETERS PORT)' & 1906 from Malmesbury to Sierra Leone!, Isle of Man 1919 'LAXEY' & 1906 'PORT-SODERICK SO', Scillys 1905 'SCILLY' & 1935 'ST MARYS', Isle of Wight 1907 'BEMBRIDGE', 1906 'FRESHWATER-BAY', 1930 'SANDOWN', 1910 'SHANKLIN SO', 1907 'TOTLAND-BAY' & 1908 'YARMOUTH RSO', Scottish Islands 1905 'CORRIE-ARRAN/=453=', 1908 'LIDDERY-LAMLASH' & 'LAMLASH/=214=' (both on Arran), 1937 'TOBERMORY/ ISLE OF MULL' (on KEVIII 1d) & 1935 'STORNOWAY/ISLE OF LEWIS' (on 1d Jubilee), etc, also Ireland 1912 'DERRYBEG/LETTERKENNY', 1907 'EXHIBITION BO DUBLIN' (artist card "Concert Hall and Restaurant") & 1906 'SCHULL/SKIBBEREEN', etc, also some covers & 1912 'PANORAMIC LETTER CARD/RYDE' - removed from a perforated pad! - to Australia, condition variable. 1898-1902 "Intermediate-Size Cards comprising Blum & Degen Sepia/Cream "Trafalgar Square" (superb & very early usage of 28AP98, to Bohemia), Black/Blue "Blackfriars Bridge", "The Tower Bridge", "India Docks" & "Cathedral - Manchester" (used in 1899), Black/White "Great Wheel" (early usage of JU14/98) & "The Bridge, Plemont, Jersey" (superb), chromolithos for Pictorial Postcard Syndicate x2 (one used in 1898), JMB x4 (one used in Germany in 1897), 'No 1 Printed in Saxony' Sunderland multi-view & a gorgeous Great Northern Railway multi-view (superb), and Picture Postcard Co Art Nouveau card by RR Walters "The Oxford" (Theatre, superb), mostly unused & very fine to superb. A very scarce & attractive lot. Ex Keith Harrison. [The "intermediate" size was officially no larger than 130x83mm.
