STAMP DUTY:1867 QV Lithos perforated duplicated used range noted 1/4d Small Value, 1/8d (jumped corner perf), 3/4d x4, 9/-, 12/6d (couple of short perfs), £1/5/- £2 & £3, also 1871 Die II range including 15/- x3, £1 with Long Tail, £2/10/-, £3, £4 orange & green, £5, £10 & £30 plus mint 1d x5 & 6d, then range of Imperfs presumed to have trimmed perfs (some on document pieces, not included in the catalogue value) including 35/- with 'THiRTY-FiVE' Error (two lower-case letters), unchecked for perf & wmk varieties, mixed condition but including a number with cachets or datestamps instead of the usual pen cancels, Kiwi 2016 Cat NZ$4000+ for pen cancels.

NEW ZEALAND - Postal History
1916-18covers to Apia with Auckland meters x3 comprising ½d on window-face envelope, 1½d single and 1½d plus circular 1d added, the latter two sealed with ½d 'Auckland Provincial Wounded Fund' labels (one with minor fault), also two covers with KGV 1½d black (both stamps faulty), all with boxed Censor 2 or 3 cachets of Apia on face in green or violet, some blemishes but overall fine.
PAPUA NEW GUINEA - Issued Stamps
1947(Jan 8) Rabaul-Sydney flight cover with the black & blue Qantas label & signed by the pilot "J Bonnington"; also plain typed cover Port Moresby-Rabaul AAMC #P165 with cds of "16JA47" & Rabaul arrival b/s of 17JA47, plus the similar Sydney-Rabaul label (pristine, unmounted). Ex John McNabb: sold at the Prestige auction of 12.10.2012 for $862. [The entire Sydney-Rabaul mail disappeared. Unused vignettes are the only survivors of the flight to Port Moresby. The Port Moresby-Rabaul cover is the only recorded proving cover for the inwards flight. #P165 is not priced & this intermediate is not even listed]

Collection remainders including Postage Dues (Cat SKR18,000+ = $A2500+), commercial perfins, locals, "Cinderellas", etc, also a nice array of mostly pre-WWI postmarks strong in TPOs, condition variable.
ROYAL PALACE PRIVATE 'LOCALS': 1890 (circa) Queen Saowabha F&O #L39, unused, very fine. Ex Len Colgan: sold at the Prestige auction of 24.6.2011 for $1725. Philatelic Association of Thailand Certificate (2011). [These undenominated stamps, each with a notional value of 1 att, were printed by a photographic process onto thick ungummed paper of generally poor quality. Most surviving examples have significant faults. Fine to very fine examples are extremely rare]
