1893-1900 Makea/Torea Perf 11 1d (both) to 10d between SG 12-19 original printings (plus 1d brown used), and a second set from the 1900 printings with brighter colours on better-quality paper, large-part o.g., Cat £220+. [Gibbons don't list 1900 printings for the 1d blue, 5d & 10d. However the stamps included here show the same characteristics as the other later printings] (13)
1899 'ONE/HALF/PENNY' Surcharge SG 21 blocks of 4 in dark blue (no gum, marginal watermark from upper-left of sheet) & in light blue (lower-right corner with sheet number, few minor tonespots, large-part o.g. with two units being unmounted), Cat £256+. (8)
1899 'ONE/HALF/PENNY' Surcharge SG 21 complete left-hand pane of 60 (6x10) with selvedge at left and base, units [2/4] & [7/4] each with Defective 'F', a few minor blemishes largely confined to the reverse, virtually full o.g. with most units being unmounted, Cat £1920++. Ex Boulangier.
1919 Overprints on KGV Recess 2½d to 1/- Mixed Perf blocks of 4 SG 48b-55b, all with the lower units unmounted, also the 7½d (Perf 14x14½ only) block of 4 with central cds, plus Typo set mint & 3d block of 4 used on piece, Cat £280+. (41)
1936-44 Overprints Wiggins Teape Paper Multiple Watermark Arms 2/6d (unmounted) to £3 SG 122-123b, variable centring, the 10/- has a toned corner perf, Cat £750. Ex Boulangier. (4)
1916 commercial cover (USSCo flag on the flap) to Auckland with scarce combination franking of Aitutaki 1d SG 10 & Cook Islands Torea ½d (paying war tax) tied by the second-type cds in violet, trader's h/s in violet at lower-left, some toning. Ex Boulangier.

1902 Overprints Pirie Paper 2½d block of 4 (2 units '½' & 'P' Spaced), Basted Mills Paper Perf 14 ½d & 1d blocks of 4; & Cowan Paper ½d block of 6 & 1d block of 4 each with one unit No Stop after 'ISLAND', large-part unmounted with some units being unmounted, Cat £250++. (18)
1903 cover to Auckland (b/s) with Oveprints ½d, 1d (brown overprint) & 2½d tied by two typically unsatisfactory strikes of 'PENRHYN ISLAND/1FEB1903/NEW ZEALAND' cds, endorsed "Registered/ 156", minor blemishes. Ex Boulangier.
1914-15 Overprints on KEVII ½d Vermilion Opt No Stop after 'PENI' in pair & No Stop after 'ISLAND' in strip of 3, ½d Carmine Opt both varieties in a marginal block of 12 (4x3, few minor tonespots), 6d corner single with sheet number & 'LA' Joined in block of 4, and 1/- single, mostly unmounted, Cat £370++.
