Philatelic covers with a handy range of flights including 1938 'GROOTE EYLANDT/NORTH-AUST' (scarce NT postmark) to Darwin & 1949 TAA Mornington Island Christmas Flight signed by the pilot & with the original enclosure; TPOs including 1940 'TRANS AUST RAILWAY/PAY TRAIN' cds registered at Kingoonya (SA) & 1919 usage of "Linking East with West" illustrated envelope; First Day Covers including three 1950s items to the Falkland Islands (!); AAT group; 1928 registered to Newfoundland (!) with half a Kookaburra miniature sheet; etc, a few with problems but generally fine to very fine.(Qty 60 approx)

Box with 1934 Melbourne Pigeon Flight with Pigeongram, three different 1930s flight envelopes unused & very scarce thus, 1952 Australia-South Africa three with different watercolour illustrations by Jack Peake, 1960s-2001 slightly duplicated range with strong South Australian content, group of Aerogrammes with flight cachets, etc, generally very fine. An attractively presented collection of 1930s internal flights plus Melbourne-Hobart, Australia-GB & GB-Australia etc, mostly run-of-the-mill covers but some better items & frankings noted including intermediates & commercial mail. A ready-made club display.(Qty 115 covers)
AUSTRALIAN: Kevin Dwyer's Open Class exhibit at Australia 2013 offered largely intact, mostly philatelic with Opening Day covers including 1948 Macquarie Island with ½d Roo to £1 Robes plus registration label 'No 001' & signed on the reverse by all members & 1957 registered from Davis with 'VESTFOLD HILLS' h/s, 1948 "Wyatt Earp" covers x5 (one illustrated, one self-addressed by Stuart Campbell), 1948 Operation Sinbad x8 (including Arthur Bergen cover & OHMS registered), 1949 HMAS "Labuan" Bergen covers x2 different, 1957 2/- Map on maximum card, lots of signed items including a couple with numerous signatures; scarce commercial mail including 1948 postcard & registered cover from Macquarie; also various ephemera including 1948 Antarctic Division Medal awarded to Ron Chadder & 1997 ANARE 50th Anniversary medallion (only 310 produced).
