PHAR LAP: 'The Bloodstock Breeders' Review. An Illustrated Annual devoted to the British Thoroughbred' Volumes XIX, XX & XXI (1930, 1931 & 1932). The chapters titled 'The Thoroughbred in Australasia' have numerous mentions of Phar Lap.
Donald Campbell archive including 1956 two-page letter on his personal letterhead regarding the writer's ingenious idea for a new method of attachment for automobile road wheels; two postcards of 'Bluebird K7' (one signed on front, other signed on reverse); plus large signed photograph of 'Bluebird K7' with inset portrait.
Donald Campbell (British; 1921-1967) set eight absolute world speed records on water and land in the 1950s & 1960s. He remains the only person to set both land and water speed records in the same year (1964). He died during a water speed record attempt at Coniston Water in England in Bluebird K7.

Tenzing Norgay, Edmund Hillary & John Hunt signatures on pieces plus book 'High Adventure' by Edmund Hillary [London, 1955]. Hunt was the team leader of the 1953 British Mount Everest Expedition. Tenzing Norgay's is a very difficult signature to obtain.

ROYALTY: Pair of cups inscribed 'HM King Edward VIII, Crowned May 12th 1937' in anticipation of his aborted Coronation, in very fine condition. King Edward VIII abdicated on 11 December 1936 - before he was crowned - in order to marry American divorcée Wallis Simpson.
WATCHES: Bauer & Schaumer 18ct gold Hunter (51mm) made by Rotherhams London and engraved 'To Capt. Ch H Owen In recognition of his able managment of the OP Co by his co-partners J Bauer & MM Schaumer 1903', not in working order.
