Pacific Islands far-above average selection from Fiji x9 (two with faults); Gilberts x4 including a marvellous real photo "Natives Wheeling Phosphate in to the Hopper Ocean Island"; German New Guinea x2; Papua x3; Samoa x5; and Solomons x7; many published by European missions; generally very fine unused - mostly - or used in Australia.
FIJI: Batch including local publishers Arnold & Co, Gardiner, Le Faivre and Stinson, mission cards British x7 (Hussey & Gillingham, Adelaide) & French x7, many fine native subjects, etc, condition rather mixed but many are fine used or unused; also some photos & moderns not included in the count.

NEW GUINEA: German 'Herbertshohe...Wohnhaus in Takubar...', a batch of British Mission cards x19 with some duplication, & three others, some problems but many are fine to very fine.
PAPUA: useful bundle with French Mission cards x28, British Mission cards x4, Whitten Bros x2, Australian Museum featuring photos by Frank Hurley x8, etc, generally fine to very fine used under cover or unused.
PAPUA: Smith & Anthony 'New Guinea Methodist Mission' Series 1 with Grey Borders, all different, unused.
CHINA - Postal History
POSTCARDS: Belgian x8 & Italian x12 missionary cards with some terrific studies of occupations, craft, groups of children, etc, unused.
1912 usage of Japanese 4sn Postal Card with message headed "Bishop's Lodge Chang Kol/Seoul Corea", to GB with superb 29mm rubber 'KEIJO/(SEOUL)/23 08 12/CHOSEN' cds in violet, also two 1905 Presbyterian Church of Victoria/Mission to Korea PPCs 'CITY GATE, SEOUL' & 'KOREAN CANDY SELLER'. Scarce trio.

TO FOREIGN DESTINATIONS: 1936-39 commercial airmails 1 & 2) standard 1/9d rates with Undated Birds or Bulolo 9d & 1/-; 3) with Undated Airs 9d + Coronation 1/- (rare on cover); and 4) double-rate - 1/9d + 1/8d = 3/5d - with Undated 1d 4d & 1/- strip of 3; 5) with 'LUTHERAN MISSION FINSCHHAFEN' h/s at L/L with Undated 1d & Undated Airs 2/- paying "all-up" airmail; 6) with Undated Airs 2/- underpaid 1d but not taxed. An excellent group.
TO FOREIGN DESTINATIONS: NETHERLANDS: 1934 cover with 'MIVA-SUDSEE-EXPEDITION 1934' h/s & typed "Kieta...New Guinea", ½d 1d & 1½d tied by Rabaul cds, minor blemishes. [MIVA = Missions-Verkehrs- Arbeitsgemeinschaft. It is a Catholic body that to this day provides transport to missions around the world]
CINDERELLAS: c.1941 Red Cross Appeal 1d Canoe sheetlet of 6, very fine with large-part o.g.; also 1938 Melanesian Mission sheet of 24 labels, some perf separation & missing selvedge also light toning but unmounted.
