Australian Colonies - New South Wales "The Postage Stamps, Envelopes, Wrappers etc etc of New South Wales" by Basset Hull (1911), bound in a single volume but without the plates, binding partly separated, the pages generally fine.

Australia 1938 Labor Motor Funerals Ltd member's card, two different types of rouletted 6d labels (10 of the first & 15 of the second including two pairs) affixed within, faults. The first such booklet we have seen.

1928 International Philatelic Exhibition M/S perforated all round - from a central position in the sheet - with the Exhibition cds in bright red & bright greenish blue. Delightful.

1913-20 covers (3) & postcard with perf 'OS/NSW' frankings of 1d; ½d & 1d pair to USA; 3d to Belgium; and 3d+4d used within NSW (surprisingly not registered). Scarce quartet. (4)
C of A - Flight Covers
1933 (Sep 30) Aero Club of NSW large postcard (204x152mm) with illustration in red #331, endorsed "This card was flown in the Aerial Derby and signed by all competitors/Ernest A Crome" & with autographs of 19 pilots, black & yellow vignette on the reverse. [Only 50 carried, of which many have corner damage & other faults]
1936 (April 29) Adelaide-Cootamundra-Sydney SA Centenary Goodwill Flight #602 with 2d Cable cancelled on arrival at Sydney, signed by the pilot "CJMelrose" (his last flight), Cat $1000 (2002). Only 3 carried!!
Envelopes - PTPO Issues - 1916-20 "Star" without POSTAGE
OFFICIAL 1916 2d bright violet Menuz #21 long bluish envelope for NSW Department of Lands, vertical fold, used in 1921 from 'EAST MAITLAND' to 'SCONE' where readdressed to "Belltrees", under- catalogued at $US450. [A very late usage, now paying base rate]

'SPECIMEN' & similar types overprinted on Diadems 5d 6d 8d x2 & 1/- (all diagonal - very fine with large-part o.g.), plus later issues to 5/- Coin & 5/- Map, condition variable. (19)
Postage Dues annotated selection to 20/- (CTO), condition variable; also 'NINEPENCE' on 10d Double Surcharge SG 236dca, fine mint. (23)
1851-55 Laureates Imperf Medium Grey-Blue Wove Paper 3d yellow-green SG 67 block of 4, margins just touching (at right) to good, scissor-cut between the 2nd & 4th units, bars cancels of Sydney, Cat £400++. Ex "Manwood" (where it was mentioned as having a "faint diagonal crease", that has been expertly renovated]
1851-55 Laureates Imperf Thick Blue Wove Paper 3d emerald SG 69 remarkable block of 6 (3x2), deep shade, margins close to huge except at lower right where just shaved & with parts of four adjoining units at left & base, untidy cancels, Cat £1350+++. A truly exceptional used multiple. Ex "Manwood".
1851-55 Laureates Imperf 8d orange-yellow SG 80 block of 4 - the second unit with No Lines in Spandrels - with margins just shaved (at right) to good, the left-hand units comprising a quite exceptional pair, BN '9' (Reversed Numeral) of Bathurst, Cat £2650++. The only recorded used block of the 8d Laureate. Ex Caspary & "Manwood" (where it was described as having "two small closed tears & a light crease", now not apparent due to expert renovation]
