1908 Jubilee Carnival real photo postcard of the New Zealand team, endorsed at base 'Australasian Jubilee Carnival/ New Zealand Team', showing the players wearing their distinctive uniforms featuring the Silver Fern. [This was the only time that a team from NZ competed. Former Collingwood player Tom Wright, who would be killed in action in France in 1916, was the captain of NZ. The surprise packet of the tournament, they won 6 out of the 11 matches they played on the tour, including carnival matches against NSW & Queensland].
