Single Watermark to CofA Watermark perf 'OS' issues complete on a simplified basis with all major colours (the 4d "lemon" is a yellow-orange) & dies, generally well centred & lightly cancelled, some are CTO. Advertised retail $2000+. Difficult to assemble this fine.
Unmounted mint selection all perf 'OS' including Single Wmk 1d violet, 2d orange, 3d & 4d blue, LMult Wmk 1d green & 1½d brown, No Wmk 1d, SMult Wmk Perf 14 3d & 4½d, Perf 13½x12½ 1½d brown 4½d & 5d, etc, also 'OS' Overprints 4d & 5d, etc, condition a bit variable but generally very fresh.

OFFICIALS: Collection on leaves with some unused/mint including De La Rue to 1/- black x9, Centennial 8d Lyrebird x20+ & 1/- Roo x12, etc, lots of perforation variants & some multiples, condition variable, Cat £2500+ just for the unused/mint material.
OFFICIALS: 1891 'Halfpenny' on 1d grey SG O55 lower-right corner block of 16 (4x4), a few gum-side blemishes but with full unmounted o.g., Cat £1040++.

DEPARTMENTALS: Black 'M.B.' of Marine Board on DLR Star Wmk Rouletted 2d, small repaired tear at the top, Port Adelaide cds of JY26/71. Rated RRR.
DEPARTMENTALS: Black 'P.W.' of Public Works on DLR Crown/SA Perf 10 2d, ironed-out crease, untidy GPO cds. Underrated at S. [A very fine example sold at our auction of 7/12/2012 for $276]
DEPARTMENTALS: Red 'R.G.' of Registrar-General on 2d vermilion, GPO cds of MY21/68. Rated RR. Ex Frederick Hall: acquired for $253.
CTO trio with 1884-96 Large Stamp Duty 45/- mauve SG 277 (dated MR6/97), KEVII Perf 11 £1 rose & Perf 12½ £2 blue both punctured 'OS', no gum, Cat £640.
OFFICIALS: 1902 KEVII 'GOVT/PARCELS' 1d to 1/- (minor crease) SG O74-78, mostly well centred, a couple of minor bends, full unmounted o.g., Cat £2575+ (mounted). As fresh as they come. Pinchot Certificate (1986) for the set states "very rare in never hinged condition", plus PTS Expertising Certificates (2015) for the 9d & 1/-.
POSTAL CARDS - OFFICIAL: General Pictorial Issue 4c scarlet with Stamp & Inscriptions Barred Out & with 'ON POSTAL SERVICE' Overprint Tan €‹#OP5, printed 'REMITTANCE RECEIPT' on the reverse, unused, Cat $M1500 (2003). Superb!
Attractive collection in two Davo hingeless albums with Pictorials No Wmk 5/- SG 259 (regummed), KGV Recess set (ex 3d & 8d brown), 1925 Dunedin Exhibition set, 1929 Nurse, 1935 Jubilee set, 1935 Pictorials, 1940 Centennial set (1/- tiny tonespots), QEII Pre-Decimals complete simplified including '2d' on Stars 1½d (Ceremuga Certificate) but without the Health M/Ss, Decimals to 1996 complete simplified with all M/Ss to 1984 & from 1990-96, "Back of the Book" including Decimal Arms set, Officials with a few early values, 1936-45 3d to 5/-, KGVI & QEII issues complete, Postage Dues 1899 set (hinge remainders) & 1939 set, etc, generally very fine, most including all those mentioned without qualification are unmounted. A very desirable lot.

Handstamp on 1898 Pictorials No Watermark Perf 11 5d Otira Gorge with the Handstamp in Magenta SG O20a, characteristic rough perfs, large-part o.g., Cat £1100 for violet handstamp used; unpriced unused. David Brandon Certificate (1990) as the then SG O17 with violet handstamp.
OFFICIALS: 1907-27 'OFFICIAL' Overprints comprising KEVII ½d to 1/-, KGV Typo set of 6, Recess 3d to 1/- & Admirals 2/- between SG O73 & O112, generally well centred, unmounted, Cat £340+ minimum (CP $NZ2700 minimum).
OFFICIALS: 1954-63 QEII New Denominations imperforate plate proofs of the 2½d in scarlet, deep violet, orange-brown & slate-green - the last selected for the issued 3/- - and of the 3/- in turquoise-blue, olive-green, deep brown & crimson - the second selected for the 2½d - affixed to two Bradbury Wilkinson presentation cards with various endorsements.
