Small album with a good range of "Long Toms" including 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' 5/- *&U and 10/- U x2, later mint to 5/- & a few CTO to 5/-, punctured 'SA' mint 2/6d & 5/- (both **), punctured 'OS' 2/6d x2 & 5/-, other issues with numerous 'O.S.' Overprints including a few varieties, generally fine to very fine. Close inspection recommended.
POSTAL FISCALS:1863-80 St George & the Dragon Perf 11½ 10/- salmon SG F25 horizontal pair, large-part o.g., Cat £1100++. A very rare multiple. Ex Trevor Hiscock. RPSofV Certificate (2013).
REVENUES STAMP DUTY: 1900 'REVENUE' Overprint on Platypus 2d orange-brown with 'TWO PENCE' Double marginal block of 4 from the left of the sheet with Control '8', a few split/rejoined perfs, unused, Elsmore Online Cat $640+.
REVENUES 1900 'REVENUE' Overprint on Platypus 2d orange-brown with 'TWO PENCE' Omitted marginal block of 4 from the base of the sheet, the upper units very lightly mounted, the lower units unmounted, Elsmore Online Cat $800++. A marvellous positional block of a terrific keyplate error.
Interesting collection on Hagners with Half-Lengths 1d x7 (one apparently unused & an oxidised pair) & 3d x16, Queen-on-Throne 2d x7, 1d x7 (three mint) & 6d x7, Woodblocks Imperf 'TOO LATE' 'REGISTERED' & 2/-, Experimental Separations x3, Perf 12 2/- green/yellow, four pages of Emblems including a few pairs, generally attractive & many are fine to very fine; also a rather scrappy range of Revenues including Stamp Statute to £1 x2, Stamp Duty Large £7 & £8, others to £25 x3.
1884-96 Large Stamp DutyLitho £1/5/- pink & Typo £2 blue SG 243 & 276 both with diagonal Type 21 'SPECIMEN' Overprint Reading Upwards, the first a little aged, large-part o.g. Rare. [Kellow Turner & McCredie recorded a mere two & one examples respectively]
1884-96 Large Stamp DutyTypo 10/- grey-green, 15/- brown, £1/5/- pink, £1/10/- olive, £2 blue & 45/- between SG 272a & 277, plus Wmk V1 £1 orange/yellow SG 262a each with italicised Type 24 'Specimen.', no gum. Ex Les Molnar: acquired at the Prestige auction of 29.6.2012 for $776.

1890cover with Cuthbert Hamilton Wynne & Co Solicitors imprint on the flap, to London with rare franking of 1/6d orange tied by 'ENGLISH MAIL TPO/DE16/90 - VICTORIA' duplex cancel on cover to London arrival b/s of 9JA91, minor blemishes. [The rate was 6d ship letter x2 + 6d late fee for posting directly onto the English Mail TPO to Adelaide]

Complete probate documents with various mostly QV Long Type adhesives 1) 1907-21 x4 with embossed cancels on £3/10/-; 4/- & £2; 8/- 10/- & 45/-; and 10/- & £8 (damaged); and 2) 1930-47 x5 with 'FINE PAID' perfins on 5/- £7 £30 & £100; 30/- £4 £30 £45 & £50; £200 (+ Arms £30 x2); the last two with Arms 8/- £3 & £7 pair; or 15/- & £3; usual folds otherwise generally fine to very fine.

1942Union Steamship Co large cover to London endorsed "Surface + Air" franked with Arms 4/- x2, 5/- x2 & £1 x2 plus 1935 Pictorials 4d x2, 5d x19, 8d x 11 & 9d x4 and KGVI 1d & 3d tied 'WELLINGTON C/18MR42' cds paying £3 18/- rate (a few faulty or toned), censored with brown tape & 'Opened ...' label, minor edge faults.
