PAPUA NEW GUINEA - Issued Stamps
Duplicated array of philatelic pieces with various Australian stamps tied by datestamps of most of the post offices open before TPNG stamps were issued. Many scarce items including 'BAININGS' (6) & 'CHIMBU' (6) etc, quality of the strikes is quite variable; also 1946 registered cover with 'RELIEF No 4' cds & 'MADANG' registratuion label. Opportunity for re-seller, especially for internet auctions. (Qty 150 approx)
1952-85 complete & mostly unmounted mint plus 'SPECIMEN' Overprints 1952 10/- & £1, 1963 10/- & £1 (2) and 1964 Bird 10/-, 1960 Postal Charges set lightly hinged, plus used 6d on 7½d SG D1 that we believe to be genuine but without a certificate; also a few Papua including 1939-41 Air set*. Odd item with toning but generally fine. (Qty few 100)
1952-65 issues complete plus a few imprint blocks & Postal Charges including 6d on 7½d SG D1, lightly mounted; plus 'SPECIMEN' Overprints complete, all but the QEII £1 13½mm Opt are unmounted; then 1952-65 issues complete used/CTO; Cat £1400+. (Qty 180+)
1966-2005 Issues apparently complete unmounted mint with se-tenants, miniature sheets etc, and extras including all the 1995 Surcharged Birds, Tourism 65t with Value Omitted in a block etc, also most issues to 1989 CTO, Cat £1000 approximately. Thematicists' delight! (Qty Qty)

POSTAL HISTORY: 1959 commercial airmail cover to United States with 2d 3d & 1/7d Cattle paying the 2/- rate tied by 'RABAUL' cds, a couple of toned perfs. [While the 1/7d is often seen on philatelic covers, it is rare used on commercial mail]

POSTAL HISTORY: 1960 commercial usage to Port Moresby (b/s) of the 1957 1/7d Registration Envelope uprated to 2/5d with 5d on ½d x2 tied by 'LAE' cds. Much scarcer than the 1/0½d issue.
