1919(Aug 6) Adelaide-Minlaton AAMC #20a unnumbered PPC per Harry Butler cancelled on arrival with 'MINLATON' squared-circle, minor blemishes but in far above average condition, Cat $550.

Box of mostly Tasmanian 1950s-60s covers with loads of registered items from around the island, also slogans - many of these are very scarce from Tasmania - & meters, a few KGV Postal Stationery Envelopes including Star 1d red for Mt Lyell Mining & Railway Co, 1924 to Ulverstone with KGV 1½d x2 & 'TPO WESTERN LINE/TAS' cds, also 1931 commercial airmail cover to Holland with 'MT KOSCIUSKO/NSW' cds and a few PPCs including advertising for Fry's Cocoa used at Sydney & British "Aston Villa Football Ground" during a soccer match; finally 100+ mostly 1980s inwards covers mostly from Germany but also noticed China & Malaysia.

KGV frankings on covers & postcards including PPCs, noted municipal users, frankings including Engraved 1d x2, ½d green solo, many 1d reds, 1½d greens, 2d oranges, etc, unchecked by us for varieties, rather mixed.
1918postcard from UK to Tasmania endorsed "OAS" unstamped but with circular check cachet and 'PASSED BY CENSOR' cachet in red, another with cachet in violet, also a few with GB stamps or sent under cover, then quantity of unused 'Art' PPCs, couple of Tasmanian plus KGV 1d green Postal Card with printed 'Second Class Mail' endorsement and Myer advertising used 1932, mostly fine condition.

C of A - Military - World War I
German Merchant Seaman Friedrich Schock correspondence from his internment at Liverpool Camp, NSW including his Diary (in German) with entry of 11.08.14 stating taken POW at Newcastle, 1913-14 covers from Germany to him aboard ship x3, 1915-17 postcards to him with Lt-Col Sands cachets x4 and 1918 Federal Commission of Land Tax OHMS envelope with letter requesting tax returns for last three years (!) plus 1919 letter from his employer FA Vinnen & Co, Bremen that he will be paid wages only up until their ship was seized, various other letters to & from him without envelopes including one on 'CONCENTRATION CAMPS AUSTRALIA/PRISONER OF WAR LETTER' stationery (with photo apparently removed by censor), unused 'PRISONER OF WAR LETTER/FREE' envelope, panoramic Liverpool Camp fold-out postcard plus small book of postcards & photographs from prior voyages & captivity including Hockey Club "Germania", Liverpool team photo, condition mixed but generally fine. Fascinating material with enough here to build a One-Frame Exhibit.
Entertainment group of mostly Talma cards plus a few Falks & others of actors & acresses includingTittell Brune, Madame Melba and JC Williamson, several of Art Nouveau types, also a few "stills" including the cringeworthy 'There's a New Coon in Town' & 'The Golliwoggs', condition variable but most are good to fine used or unused.

Military 1920s real photo navy cards mostly from HMAS "Adelaide" including visits to Rabaul, Misima, Noumea, Vila etc, many with captions on the address side otherwise mostly fine to very fine unused.
Three volume collection with "all the usual subjects" but many better cards noted including Undivided Backs with Jolleys & Three-Quarter-Size cards, some with French captions, condition variable.
Early sporting group mostly of the players with Cricket x7 including Test Teams for 1878 (faults) 1905 1930 & 1934, Australian Football x3, Rowing x4, AIF tug-of-war & rifle teams, & a few others, mostly real photo types, a few faults but most are fine to very fine.
Accumulation including Victoria with Melbourne "Grand Hotel" & "Bourke Street from Opera House", Steamer "Yorck" at Port Melbourne real photo, Dandenong "Post Office" & "Timber Merchant Dandenong East", Ballarat group, "Ascot Vale Railway Station" (faults), a few from other States, KEVII "One King One Flag One Fleet One Empire" chromolithos x3, Australian Series Birds x3, De Closay "Fairy Butterfly" x4 (printed in Australia) and American Flag Dresses x6 (for White Fleet visit ?), a number postally used to/from Australian States with postmark interest including 'ENFIELD/SA' squared-circle (rated RRR), condition mixed but mostly fine.
Box including Victoria with Casterton "JA Hooper - Mrs Chapman/Practical Tailor - Confectioner" real photo card & similar card but sign now reads "JA Hooper - Mrs Hooper" plus Main Street with Pub (over-exposed), Outtrim "Loading Hay", Emerald "Hydraulic Sluicing", Australian Rules Football "A Mark of Memory/Melbourne Football Scene" with vignette view of game in progress, ACT with "Eastlake" real photo aerial view, NSW Harbour Bridge x3, etc, also 1908 US Fleet x2 including "Exhibition Building" vignette view, etc.
Box of mostly pre-WWI cards mainly topographicals including small publishers, Undivided Backs & real photo types, a few from New Zealand, about 40% are Regal Series types with duplication, postmark interest, condition variable.
NEW SOUTH WALES:Four volume collection from all over the State - no Sydney CBD - with lots of Sydney Harbour, Spitwater, Blue Mountains & Jenolan Caves, some better subjects with small towns including by local publishers, a smattering of Undivided Backs & some real photo types, condition variable.
