One Penny varieties on coverextensive collection of 240+ Reds, a few Violets and 800+ Greens all with plated varieties on covers (some are Shierlaw fronts), postcards or postal stationery arranged by plate position, the Reds including Pane I Saddle on Emu, Pane II Broken Crown, Pane IV Pregnant 'Y', Pane V Cut Left Frame, Break In Left Frame, Broken Crown x5, Scratch Behind Roo x2, Notched NE Corner x2, Pane VI Colour Spot, Thinned Left Frame (also in violet), Thinned Left Corner x4 (also in violet on illustrated advertising cover), Notched NW Corner x2, Emu Frame Flaw x5, Pane VII Wattle Line x5 (including one in pair with TLC Nick), Secret Mark x3, Ferns (also in green Perf 13½x12½), Top Frame Break, Pane VIII Distorted & Thin 'ONE PENNY' x7, Scratch Behind Roo x2, Corner Spot x2, 'RA' Joined x3, Run 'N' first & second states (plus various retouches on Greens), lots of other ACSC-listed varieties & many minor flaws, stated to be unchecked for shades, also postal history & postmark interest noted '2ND AUST INF BDE FIELD PO' arrival on cover to soldier, 'WELLINGTON/LOOSE LETTERS' d/s, taxed & postage dues, '20 POSTED' cachets, destinations include Estonia, condition mixed but many fine. Eclectic group including 1913 Registration Envelope 4d Roo with early 'R/NSW/Mittagong' red & black label, bundle of 'ADVICE OF DELIVERY' cards with KGVI 3d blue (many with 'A+R' perfins) x35 including a few to New Zealand, range of Colonial/States postal stationery noted NSW 1888 2d postal card 'Specimen' overprint, Victoria Bantam ½d wrapper with 'THE "FREE CHURCH" QUARTERLY' banner, real photo postcards of Marrar NSW Post Office and four other views including 'AL Weale, Outfitter' shopfront (stained), potential postmark interest, condition quite mixed but inspection will reward.
Accumulation with Flight Covers including 1934 Albury signed "CTP Ulm", 1935 New Zealand signed "C KingsfordSmith" and another franked with KGV 3d blue 'OS' overprint, also BCOF set on registered cover, 1940 Story Bridge Opening cover with label plus other commemoratives, some commercial mail noted 1972 formular aerogramme to Paraguay with 12c Rehab single, then postal stationery used & unused including a few 'SPECIMEN' overprints, condition variable.
2001'Mooloolaba' postcard airmail to England with rare solo franking of $1 Koala 'International POST' overprint SG 628a and 'Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary' tab tied Southgate MC '13/MAR/2001' cancel, fine condition. A modern rarity, presumably from a tourist who visited the Sanctuary in Brisbane and bought the stamp there.
This emergency overprint converted a pre-GST stamp (which was sold 'GST-inclusive' after 1.7.2000) into an International Post issue sold GST-exclusive. It was only ever applied to this particular P-Sheet issue and was not available for sale at Australia Post counters. Mail Orders were supplied the overprinted stamp only with the generic AP employee Angela Thom tab; neither the order for this personalised stamp nor the date of withdrawal of the overprinted stamp are known, but in April 2001 it was replaced with an International Post $1 Kangaroo design.
Box of topographicals mostly from Victoria with good selections from Gippsland including Walhalla, Sale, Bairnsdale etc, also Daylesford, Ballarat, Melbourne Suburbs, Dandenongs, etc, plus WA including a nice group of Austral Stores cards, Queensland featuring Mackay, some real photo types & many better subjects including mining, caves & horse racing, condition varaible but many are fine to very fine.
Box with artist cards mostly by Hutchings and Weston set of 6, topographicals with many better Rose types, a few Sydney Harbour Bridge real photo types, 'Interior St John's Church Adelidae' (spelling error), etc, many are fine to very fine; also c.1880 Perkins & Co 'Souvenir of Melbourne' with 12 fold-out illustrations.

1908 Visit of the American Great White Fleet collection with many American cards of ships of the Fleet & three different with local overprints for ANA Sewing Machines, Victorian Government issues, processions in Sydney & Melbourne, coloured illustrations, Postal Stationery Victoria 1d used & 1½d unused & very fine unused and South Australia 1d unused, plus the unstamped issue 'TO/SYDNEY' used to USA from a sailor quarantined aboard ship (very rare but the stamp has been neatly removed) & 'TO/MELBOURNE' unused, etc, condition variable. A very desirable lot.
- WTP six different coloured illustrations, three unused, two postally used & one used under cover. Beautiful cards. [A full set?]
- series of cards from a sailor aboard the USS 'Louisiana' to a young lady in Sydney, from Yokohama x2 with pictorial Fleet Visit cds (one poor), Amoy China (stamp removed), Cavite Philippines x3 (one with poster stamps of the 'Louisiana', 'Minnesota' & 'Alabama', and Colombo x2, condition rather mixed. Very scarce greoup.
1925 Visit of the American Fleet Valentine's for Commonwealth Immigration Office for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide, rare Lucien Alavoure 'Stamps & Flags', all unused, also a programme for a musical evening at Melbourne's Exhibition Building.
