REGISTRATION ENVELOPES: 1906-12 New Fonts & 'REGISTERED.' in Box 31x8mm 3d RE9 with Text in Red-Brown & Stamp in Yellow-Brown, unused. [The PSAC identifies six printings in various shades of brown. However, the descriptors used to separate the printings don't conform to the empirical evidence of used examples. The shades are graduated and can be very difficult to separate. Because the shade is the only point of difference, we see little value in assigning separate catalogue numbers to this group]
