1900 (Feb 7) Boer War cover with straight-line 'SS EURYALUS' ship's cachet & endorsed "2nd Vict Contingent/Wray Chaplain/for Col Price CC", to Sydney with CofGH 1d tied by Cape Town squared-circle, Sydney arrival b/s of MR2/00, opened a bit roughly with small repair at upper-right. Rare.
SPAIN: 1952 Stamp Day 60c Ferdinand & Columbus from the left of the sheet Imperforate at Left, minor crease in the margin only, unmounted. [The background painting includes two macaws]
Religion mostly British with a small selection of Churches & a good array of Ministers & Bishops, excellent Salvation Army group including an Indian Mission card (a great shot!) & five different Bands, etc, also several sets of devotional cards, 'The Volunteer Organist' set of 4 & Misch & Co 'The Holy Scriptures in Pictures' complete set of 60 plus Italian sets of 10 Popes & 10 Saints (absolutely gorgeous cards in superb condition) in their original envelopes, etc, condition variable but generally fine to very fine & many are superb.
Miniature Sheets mostly mint including 1934 Liszt, 1947 Roosevelt (both**), 1949 Chain Bridge (**), 1950 UPU, 1951 Stamp Anniversary set of 3 (**), 1972 Stamp Day with Internal Perforations Omitted, etc, also several Kleinbogen (sheetlets of 4 stamps), a few CTO & many are unmounted, Cat €3250+.

REINFORCEMENT CONVOYS Ceylon PPC with superb boxed '.../JAN 21 1915/----- REINFORCEMENT/...' d/s in violet (the offending 'FIRST' excised) overstruck with 'MEDBURY/4MR15' arrival cds (Wooders rated 5). The sender was Chaplain Captain Robert Richards. [The convoy arrived in Egypt on 29.1.1915]
