Collection on Hagners including Imperf London Printing 6d (2, one a 4 margin example), Adelaide Printing 1d deep yellow-green & 1/- orange, good range of Rouletted issues, 1870 3d on 4d red overprint (2), De La Rue 2d marginal imperforate single, 'Long Toms' to 5/- (2), extensive Officials with 'O.S.' opts including Missing Stops (6) & Inverted Overprints (2, one a forgery), perf 'OS' or 'SA' to 2/6d, Revenues to 10/- including 1930 Railways Parcel Stamp 6d, also some postal stationery. . Telegraph Stamps: c.1873 crude essay for a proposed 1/- adhesive telegraph stamp, being an 1870 De La Rue 2d mauve endorsed "Telegraph/One Shilling", a little aged. Probably unique. Ex Rundell (with his note "Proposed Stamp/for Telegrams" on the glassine envelope in which it was found among his papers); Purves (with extracts from his album page); & Gundersen.
REVENUES: 1920-30 Litho Perf 14½x13½ 6d black & dull yellow Dzelme R131A with dramatic "Swan on Magic Carpet" (the vignette misplaced almost off the stamp at top), lightly mounted. Spectacular! [An almost identical stamp sold at auction in Sydney for $1725]

1881 'I. R.' Surcharges on 3d Lilac 'TWO PENCE', 'THREE PENCE' (marginal example, full unmounted o.g.), 'SIX PENCE' & 'THREE SHILLINGS' (hinge remainders), a few minor bends, large-part o.g. [Of the 3/-, Dzelme states only 4560 were printed] (Qty 4)
1893-97 Long Types assortment on Hagner mostly postally used including 2d (2), 3d (5) & 6d (8, including a pair) but also including mint 1/- x2 & 5/- and an unused 2/6d, also 1881 'TWO PENCE' mint single & block of 4 plus postally used 2d & 6d, condition a bit mixed. (Qty 43)

Telegraph Stamps: 1886 1d imperforate plate proof marginal pair from right of the sheet in the issued colour on gummed watermarked paper, full unmounted o.g. From the imprimatur sheet.
Telegraph Stamps: 1896 Perf 14 1d bistre & 6d mauve (a couple of tiny blemishes), postally used. The 6d is especially scarce. [Dr Walkley's very fine pair sold for $920 at our auction of 14/4/2005] (Qty 2)
Revenues: Group of 1920s-40s documents mostly with various KGV or KGVI stamps tied by various types of cancels, the others with various Greek or Arabic handstamps. Nice lot. (Qty 17)
