Accumulation in two cartons noted some plate & imprint blocks, Northern Territory Stamp Duty 1c pane of 50 with Authority Imprint, then Decimals ** with a few M/Ss, booklets & packs, plus some FDCs.
Huge used accumulation with Colonies, Roos, KGV Heads and later issues in quantity noted Kangaroo 4d block of 4 with commercial perfins, 3rd Wmk 2/- 'OS/NSW' puncture, KGV Rough Paper 5d punctured 'OS', potential postmark & variety interest, also mint scattered throughout including Decimals **, plus Revenues noted Qld to $20, WA to £5, Victoria to £5 & $100 used plus ** 1904-09 Stamp Duty 3d block of 26, 1/- block of 28, 2/- pair, 4/- blue and range of Decimal issues to $1 in larger blocks, condition mixed but many fine.
C of A - Flight Covers
1929(Dec 10) advice on Australian National Airways Ltd letterhead regarding issue of shares, signed "RE Ludovici/ Secretary", with the accompanying Certificate #110 for 100 shares (274x202mm) with large 'CONTRIBUTING SHARES' h/s in magenta and signed by Ludovici, "CKingsford Smith" & "CTP Ulm", embossed with NSW Stamp Duty 6d. A marvellous item that would enhance the finest of airmail - or revenue - collections.

REVENUES - TAX INSTALMENT: 4d, 1/-, 2/- x2, 3/- pair, 5/-, 8/- x4, 9/- x2, 10/-, 11/- x8, 15/- x3, £1 x17 & £2, apparently all unmounted; and a few strays.
RAILWAY STAMPS:1872 Southern & Western Railway 1/- imperforate plate proof in blue on thin card, margins good to large, magenta pen-cancel across the face. See Elsmore's footnote below #QR2: rated RRRR. [Ray Kelly's similar proof - stained on the reverse - sold at the Prestige auction of 1.12.2007 for $977]
Small album with a good range of "Long Toms" including 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' 5/- *&U and 10/- U x2, later mint to 5/- & a few CTO to 5/-, punctured 'SA' mint 2/6d & 5/- (both **), punctured 'OS' 2/6d x2 & 5/-, other issues with numerous 'O.S.' Overprints including a few varieties, generally fine to very fine. Close inspection recommended.
Range from imperfs, Sidefaces including 9d blue Control Number strip of 6 **/*, 'REVENUE' Overprints & fiscal usages, strongest in Pictorials mint & used in quantity with plenty of postmark interest including some later noted bold 'WESTERN JUNCTION/25MR35/TAS' cds in violet on KGV 2d on piece, plus two Deeds with 2/6d St George & 5/- Sideface x7 respectively.
POSTAL FISCALS:1863-80 St George & the Dragon Perf 11½ 10/- salmon SG F25 horizontal pair, large-part o.g., Cat £1100++. A very rare multiple. Ex Trevor Hiscock. RPSofV Certificate (2013).
REVENUES - IMPRESSED STAMP DUTY: 1877 original artwork for the 10/- & £5 Platypus designs in pencil on yellow tracing paper (88x114mm) numbered "9" or "11" in red at upper-right & both with '22 MAR 77' h/s at upper-central. Unique! Ex De La Rue Archives.
REVENUES STAMP DUTY: 1900 'REVENUE' Overprint on Platypus 2d orange-brown with 'TWO PENCE' Double marginal block of 4 from the left of the sheet with Control '8', a few split/rejoined perfs, unused, Elsmore Online Cat $640+.
REVENUES 1900 'REVENUE' Overprint on Platypus 2d orange-brown with 'TWO PENCE' Omitted marginal block of 4 from the base of the sheet, the upper units very lightly mounted, the lower units unmounted, Elsmore Online Cat $800++. A marvellous positional block of a terrific keyplate error.
Interesting collection on Hagners with Half-Lengths 1d x7 (one apparently unused & an oxidised pair) & 3d x16, Queen-on-Throne 2d x7, 1d x7 (three mint) & 6d x7, Woodblocks Imperf 'TOO LATE' 'REGISTERED' & 2/-, Experimental Separations x3, Perf 12 2/- green/yellow, four pages of Emblems including a few pairs, generally attractive & many are fine to very fine; also a rather scrappy range of Revenues including Stamp Statute to £1 x2, Stamp Duty Large £7 & £8, others to £25 x3.
1884-96 Large Stamp DutyLitho £1/5/- pink & Typo £2 blue SG 243 & 276 both with diagonal Type 21 'SPECIMEN' Overprint Reading Upwards, the first a little aged, large-part o.g. Rare. [Kellow Turner & McCredie recorded a mere two & one examples respectively]
1884-96 Large Stamp DutyTypo 10/- grey-green, 15/- brown, £1/5/- pink, £1/10/- olive, £2 blue & 45/- between SG 272a & 277, plus Wmk V1 £1 orange/yellow SG 262a each with italicised Type 24 'Specimen.', no gum. Ex Les Molnar: acquired at the Prestige auction of 29.6.2012 for $776.
VICTORIA - Postal History
1890cover with Cuthbert Hamilton Wynne & Co Solicitors imprint on the flap, to London with rare franking of 1/6d orange tied by 'ENGLISH MAIL TPO/DE16/90 - VICTORIA' duplex cancel on cover to London arrival b/s of 9JA91, minor blemishes. [The rate was 6d ship letter x2 + 6d late fee for posting directly onto the English Mail TPO to Adelaide]

1384:'MCCC/84' First Type (Non-Duplex) of Clifton Hill superb strike on Postal Fiscals 6/- (faded). Rated RRRRR.
"Cinderellas" extensive array with strength in Europe including Spanish Civil War, Poland WWII three different sheets of 50, Trade Shows, Christmas & Exhibition labels etc, United States with lots of TB issues & Boys Homes setenant issues, also Britain with lots of Royalty, Canada, New Zealand, Australia including Railway Stamps & NSW Laureates 6d reprint sheet of 25, etc, loads of modern mullock but plenty of better earlier material including numerous poster stamps & some Revenues, Thailand progressive plate proofs, condition variable but generally fine to very fine, most unused/mint with some unmounted; also 13 woven flags noted as World War I "cigarette cards" (not previously seen by us). Many hours of fun.
Mostly foreign array with lots of "Cinderellas" & Revenues including British Railway Stamps, Brunei selection including Japanese Occupation 12c x3 & 30c mint, also batches of Indian pre-stamp entires with intaglio handstamps, commercial & philatelic paquebot covers, and Egyptian covers including commercial airmails & some Postal Stationery, condition variable.
