Collection on Hagners including Imperf London Printing 6d (2, one a 4 margin example), Adelaide Printing 1d deep yellow-green & 1/- orange, good range of Rouletted issues, 1870 3d on 4d red overprint (2), De La Rue 2d marginal imperforate single, 'Long Toms' to 5/- (2), extensive Officials with 'O.S.' opts including Missing Stops (6) & Inverted Overprints (2, one a forgery), perf 'OS' or 'SA' to 2/6d, Revenues to 10/- including 1930 Railways Parcel Stamp 6d, also some postal stationery. . 'REPRINTS AND SPECIMENS' presentation sheet (360x238mm) with various issues to 2/- overprinted 'REPRINT' (35, including Imperf 1/- violet) or 'SPECIMEN' (12) affixed or partly-affixed, unusually clean but repaired/reinforced along central fold.
Quality selection including London Printing 2d pair, Adelaide Printing 2d strip of 4 & "blood red" single, Second Roulettes 1d SG 20 with large-part o.g., 1870-71 '3-PENCE' on 4d dull ultramarine (a huge stamp), a few 'O.S.' Overprints including 1d Double Overprint SG O56a & 'SA' perfins including 9d & 2/6d etc, also unmounted o.g. multiples comprising 9d SG 124 strip of 3, 9d SG 146 pair, 1/- SG 147 pair, Perf 10 2d SG 168 strip of 3 and a few plate proofs. 1855 London Printing 6d blue SG 3 horizontal strip of 4, margins good to huge with parts of the adjoining units at left and right, bold dumb cancels of Adelaide, Cat £640++. A rare & desirable multiple of a quality rarely encountered in these issues. Diena Certificate (1984) states "...¨ originale e perfetta" = "genuine and perfect"!
1876-1900 Broad Star Perf 11½x12½ '3-PENCE' in Black on 4d ultramarine Double Surcharge SG 112a, GPO duplex, Cat £1500. RPSofV Certificate (2006).
1883-99 De La Rue "Bantam" ½d plate proofs in green on gummed unwatermarked paper comprising imperf pair & block of 4 and partly perforated gutter block of 16, unmounted.

Departmentals: "Sir Humphrey's" remains, so to speak, comprising 'B.G.' on 1/-, 'C.S.' in Red on 2d, 'C.O.' on 2/- (2), 'C.L.' in Red on 2/- & in Black on 2/-, and 'S.T.' on 2d, a few faults. Previous estimates $895; time to clear them out. (Qty 7)
Departmentals: Handy selection on Hagners including 'C.P.' in Red on Rouletted 6d (narrow stamp), 'P.S.' on Perf 12 '3-PENCE' on 4d & on Rouletted 9d, plus many others rated S or R, also a small study of 'P.' (Police x17, including Reversed Watermarks). Condition generally above average, with many attractive examples. (Qty 36)

Overprinted 'O.S.': Excellent specialised selection of Type 1 Overprints including 6d & 1/- used strips of 3; Type 2 including 2/- SG O34 mint, Perf 15 1d Double Overprint used & the same but unlisted variety on the Perf 13 1d Plates 1 & 2, ½d SG O60 used block of 4, 6d SG O62 used block of 4, ½d SG O65 used strip of 4, 6d Perf 13 & Perf 15 both used with unlisted Double Overprint, Perf 15 5d SG O74 mint pair etc; other varieties including Omitted Stops, P10xRoul 4d pair with 'STOCKADE' cds, 4d with 'PORT DARWIN NT/SA' squared-circle etc; generally fine to very fine. Interesting lot including 1867 with '19' cancel & 'GLENELG' cds, 1908 to Paris with 1d & 2d tied by 'PINE CREEK SA' (Northern Territory) cds, 1910 SA Railways mourning cover with 2d perf 'SA', 1911 PPC with 1d perf 'SA', PPC endorsed "This card was/found on/the road", etc, condition variable; also a useful group of Postal Cards & Reply Cards including some with printed advices on the reverse, one with oval McCulloch & Co d/s on the face, and a few Official issues. Selection of 1920s large red registration labels including from 'ALBERTON', 'BALAKLAVA', 'CLARE', 'JAMESTOWN', 'RUNDLE ST', 'Murray Bridge', 'Peterborough' etc. A very scarce group. (Qty 15)
