Two cartons containing World on/off-piece, strength in Australia with KGVI-QEII Pre-Decimals on-piece in bag and decimals sorted into envelopes plus two albums of decimals mint (including $20 Paintings) and used, also New Zealand, India, Straits Settlements including KGV issues, and Great Britain sorted by issue in shoeboxes, condition mixed. Weighs 16kg.
Archive carton with a huge accumulation of stamps removed from mostly pre-WWII office mail with quantities from Australia, Great Britain, India, Dutch Indies, Malaya etc, some sorted into countries but apparently completely unchecked for content. [Our vendor says that this hoard was discovered recently when a house in Sydney was demolished: see also Lots 611, 621, 700 & 732]
Small group of covers removed from Lot 620 including 1913 Singapore PPC with 'SINGAPORE/RAFFLES + HOTEL' cds, 1926 NSW-Singapore with 'RAFFLES HOTEL/SINGAPORE' cds on the face (faults), 1920 Queensland registered with straight-line 'MARYBOROUGH' h/s in lieu of R label, 1940 India airmail to NSW with 'BUY THIS/AND HELP THE/RAF' label, 1926 Siamese 'red-band' envelope, 1913 Chinese merchant's cover registered Canal Zone to Jamaica, 1926 Dutch Indies 12½c Envelope with superb 'LASEM' cds, 1938 large registered airmail from Germany at 44mk55pf rate, condition rather mixed: estimate is really for the first four items only.

1908 PPC from Scotland to "Miss Darling/Christmas Island/co Messrs Bousteads & Co/Singapore" with KEVII 1d tied by very fine 'PORTPATRICK/WIGTOWNSHIRE' cds & Singapore transit of DE18/1908 on the address side. [Because this card was sent via a forwarding agent, it most likely went between Singapore & Christmas Island in a sealed bag]

1934 (July 23) Straits 2c Postal Card with 40mm 'EASTERN EXTENSION...TELEGRAPH COMPANY/SINGAPORE/ ...' cachet on the reverse, to GB by air per KLM uprated with 1c 10c & 12c tied by superb Singapore cds of 23JY/1934. Transcribed message: "Cocos/...Orama letter ripping...please send Cocos snaps if any good..." Ex Vansittart Correspondence. [Colin Riddell's other example flown per KLM sold for $2796]

MALAYA: 1899 (May 26) use of 1d Scenic Postal Card 'Parliament House, Brisbane' with BN '215' & superb 'SOUTH BRISBANE' cds, to "Kwala Lumpar/Salangor/Straits Settlements", taxed with large '5/CTMS/T' h/s, very fine 'SINGAPORE' & 'KLANG' transit & 'KUALA LUMPUR/JY1/1899' arrival cds, characteristic discolouration of the board. [Selangor was one of the four Federated Malay States, and not part of the Straits Settlements]
