1930 registered cover to Sarawak via Singapore (b/s) with scarce solo franking of Small Multiple Wmk 4½d tied by Hobart cds, red registration label, poor Kuching arrival b/s, minor blemishes.

Postal History etc from Queensland including 1887 to England with Second Sideface 6d, two Thursday Island covers, 1d Postal Card "Botanic Gardens" (tennis court) etc; Tasmania including 1866 registration receipt, commercially used 1d PTPO Envelope & an unused Large Views 2d Letter Card "LAKE HARTZ"; and Western Australia 1900 to NSW with 'SUPERINTENDENT OF TELEGRAPHS' d/s, 1907 PPC headed "SS Bullarra/off Derby WA", Frank cutouts, and fine unused 2d Letter Cards (2, stuck), 2d Envelope & 3d Registration Envelope; etc, also a "round-the-world" PPC with stamps of 7 countries including Tasmania, condition variable but an interesting lot. Five 4d orange Couriers from various printings all cut-square & all but one with 4 margins, Barred Numeral cancels '58, '59 (2, one poor), '60' or '63'; No Wmk 4d with almost full margins; Numeral Wmk 2d slate-green with full margins but small faults, 4d blue & 4d pale blue both with full margins; Sidefaces 4d SG 162c & 10d SG 131 horizontal pairs with full unmounted o.g.; Tablets 6 values to 10/- optd 'SPECIMEN'; and ½d Pictorial with 'JUMBUNNA/VIC' cds. 1853-54 Courier Thin Hard White Paper 1d blue SG 4, margins clear to large with outer framelines complete on all sides, light indistinct cancellation, Cat £900. An early printing with little wear apparent.
1871-78 Sidefaces Perf 11½ 5/- purple SG 149 block of 4, regummed, Cat £760++.
1871-78 Sidefaces Perf 11½ 5/- deep mauve SG 149b block of 6 (3x2), unused, Cat £1200+. RPSofV Certificate (2006) states "...genuine, unused, with gum remnants". [Multiples larger than blocks of 4 are rare]
