1877 cover to "Ireland/Europe" with Bell 2d x3 tied by Echuca duplex, light strike of oval 'J. MAULTBY/ [paddlesteamer]/HERO' cachet in violet on the flap, fine 'CORK/T.P.O.' b/s, flap fault clear of the cachet. [Echuca was the most important port on the Murray River and its enormous wharf the hub of the paddlesteamer trade]
