1919 cover to "Mr Charles Chaplin/.../California" with KGV 1½d brown only tied by Hobart cds & Krag slogan cancel, superb '30/CTMS/T' h/s and 3-line '.../the postage rate from Australia to/America is 3d each ½ oz.' h/s unusually on the face, "Hollywood" added to address & US 'DEFICIENT/ADDRESS/...' h/s applied, postage due h/s & pre-cancelled Postage Due 3c pair affixed. [Very early movie star fan mail: Chaplin made his movies debut in 1914 & as early as 1916 was an established star]
1920 OHMS cover to the American Surgeon-General in Washington DC with perf 'OS' KGV Single Wmk ½d green & 5d chestnut tied by Melbourne cds, 'QUARANTINE SERVICE/Melbourne' imprint at lower-left, a couple of very minor faults.
1929 philatelic usage of United States 5c Airmail Envelope to Ohio with Australian KGV 3d & 3d Airmail tied by machine cancels of both Perth & Chicago, mistakenly (?) endorsed "Insufficiently/Paid" in red. [It is thought that the US postal clerk misunderstood the regulations regarding pre-payment of the internal airmail fee with stamps of another country, being permissable]
1932 philatelic cover to Germany with combination franking of Australia 2d x2 & 3d plus United States 15c Air all cancelled at Brisbane as is the scarce 'See/AIR MAIL/Western Queensland' airmail label, typed endorsement in German re routing via Honolulu, San Francisco & New York, then to be landed at Hamburg by catapult! [This cover sold for $1092 at a Sydney auction in 2004]

1948 Robes Thin Paper 5/- on Tinted Paper horizontal pair (& 6d Kookaburra) tied to part-front (159x189mm) to New York by 'AIR MAIL SECTION/ 1 /430P 27JA48/MELBOURNE VIC' cds, folds well-clear of the stamps. [ACSC states the stamp was issued in January 1948 & "The earliest recorded date is 27 January 1948"]

1857 outer to United States via London (cds in red on face) with Diadems 2d & 1/- (both with 4 margins) tied by Diamonds-&-Bars cancels of Sydney (superb b/s), unusual endorsement "Per RM [Royal Mail] Steamer/Simla", ' 5 /N YORK BR PKT' arrival cds on the face, addressee's name crossed-through & vertical fold at left.
1881 yellow cover to New York with DLR 6d tied by unusual Sydney duplex, 'PAID ALL'-in-oval in purple alongside, San Francisco transit in red & 'BROOKLYN NY/RECD' arrival b/s, ironed-out fold.
1882 cover to New York "via San Francisco" (in red) with printed advert at left for the Australian representative of Lockwood Press of New York, DLR 6d tied by Sydney duplex & 'PAID ALL'-in-oval h/s in purple alongside, 'PAID/PO/ALL' duplex arrival b/s. A lovely advertising cover.
