Description: 1907 Emergency Printings on Victorian V/Crown Paper 2d deep blue SG 356 (BW #N22) partly-severed horizontal pair tied to double-rate commercial cover to the United States by two of three strikes of the scarce 'TPO 1 NORTH/DOWN.../ 2 /NSW' cds, the stamps with exceptional centring, the cover creased at left & minor blemishes, Cat 240+ x12+ ($600+; unpriced on cover). Offered "as is" because we cannot confirm that the stamps are from the 1907 Emergency Printing. The estimate reflects the TPO usage.
