Description: BARRED NUMERALS: '107' of Dundee light but very fine strike on Plate II 1d gooseberry red SG 10 (margins close to good, minor corner crease at upper-right, Cat 500). Rated RRRR. [The post office opened on 1/1/1852, by which time the Sydney Views had been generally replaced by the Laureates. Rather similar to Hugh Freeman's example that sold for $719 in our auction of 23/8/2011]
