Description: 1858 'TASMANIA' 6d dull lilac with Large Star Watermark block of 4, margins close to large, some ironed-out creasing, unused, Cat 3000+. An unusually attractive multiple of this stamp. BPA Certificate (1947) as the then SG 43 states "creased (as this variety always is)". [Gibbons mention this stamp in a footnote to SG 18 stating "Examples exist from a creased proof sheet". The footnote should appear below SG 41, the first issue inscribed 'TASMANIA']
