Description: ONE SHILLING - IMPERFORATE: 1/- pale brown SG 4c marginal inter-panneau block of 4 from the top of Panes 3 & 4, margins close to humungous with part of the Sheet Watermark 'POSTA[GE...]' at the Top, the last unit with 'I,A' in 'AUSTRALIA', unused. A rare & attractive multiple. Previously sold at a London auction for 4112 (Nov 2007). [Superior in quality & appearance to Sir Gawaine Baillie's 1/- pale brown marginal pair that sold for $2760, and Dr Cecil Walkley's 1/- grey-brown block of 4 that sold for $9775]
