Description: 1854 entire headed "King Georges Sound" & signed "AThomson" (?) to Victoria with a good strike of the rounded-boxed 'PAID/("4 9 54")/ALBANY' h/s (#PA Pd2) in red & rated "4d" in red, 'SHIP LETTER/MELBOURNE' transit b/s in red & 'GEELONG/VICTORIA' arrival b/s. An unusually clean pre-stamp entire and a very scarce destination in this period. Ex Dr Cecil Walkley: acquired for $1265.
