Description: 1902 2d blue EN4, to Holland with 'FREMANTLE' cds of 10OC08, 'AMSTERDAM' arrival b/s of 10-11/1908 & postman's 'B 430'-in-capsule h/s on the reverse, minor blemishes. Rare: possibly the finest used example of the six or so recorded. [Although printed in 1902, it seems that none were actually issued for some years. This example, the ERU, is more than two years earlier than the PSAC's ERU of 12/11/1910! Margaret Hamilton's used example to Canada - torn through the stamp - sold for $1955]
