Description: FRANK HANDSTAMPS: 1902 all-different group on unaddressed OHMS covers including 'CLERK LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY', 'COLONIAL SECRETARY'S OFFICE', 'COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES' (in green), 'EDUCATION DEPARTMENT', 'ELECTORAL', 'ENGINEER IN CHIEF'S OFFICE', 'GOVERNOR...' (small Arms), 'HARBOUR MASTER'S OFFICE' (with mss "Specimen" in red) & 'DEPARTMENT OF MINES' etc all CTO with 'PERTH/ OC30/02/W.A' cds, the strikes mostly in violet & generally fine to superb, unaddressed, a few very minor blemishes but generally very fine. A rare & desirable group. Ex Dr Cecil Walkley: acquired for $1610. [The franking system in all States was abolished 31/10/1902] (Qty 16)
