Description: CENTRAL AUSTRALIA: Mostly real photo cards - mostly pre-World War II - for Alice Springs including Rose "Methodist Children's Hostel" & Neck "Aerial Services Residence", also "Dipping Cattle, Anthony's Lagoon", "Rankine Store", "Bradshaws Stn, Victoria River", "Among the big Game in the NT, Adelaide River", "Marked by Gregory's Exploring party 1856" (Bottle Tree), a Camel-Drawn Buggy, Flood Damage to Railway Line at Pine Creek, a fantastic shot of two huge Crocodiles Trussed & Hanging from a Boat's Jib, three of Albert Namatjira, etc, some are PPC-size photographs including 1914 Katherine River Floods x2 and Hermannsberg Mission, etc (32); also sixteen smaller photographs including a few of the film crew for "We of the Never-Never"; condition variable but generally fine to very fine.
