Description: 1856-60 Small Diadems imperforate colour trial proof with blank 'POSTAGE' & Value Tablets and waxed void corner at L/L in yellow-bistre on ungummed vertically laid paper, truncated at the base (which is often the case with this form of proof) with manuscript "Specimen". Ex John Bell (in a group of four different colours). [Absent from Bill McCredie's collection]
