Description: 1858 cover to Bedfordshire with rare & superb franking of Woodblocks 6d orange Rouletted 7-9 at the GPO SG 53b horizontal pair (rouletted vertically, the L/H stamp being enormous) tied by neat BN '1' of Melbourne (b/s), 'AMPTHILL' arrival b/s in blue, docketing on the address panel has been removed. RPSofL (1942) and RPSofV (2018) Certificates. [NB: the stamps have been lifted & hinged in place]
