Description: Disaster mail including 1894 Queensland to Auckland with fine strike of 'Saved from wreck of the/WAIRARAPA' h/s in blue, United States 1917 to India with 'DAMAGED BY SEA WATER' h/s & to England with 'DAMAGED BY IMMERSION/IN SEA WATER', Australia 1930 to England with 'DAMAGED BY FIRE/ON S.S. COMORIN.', New Zealand 1930 two covers to America with a poor or fair strikes of 'Salvaged from/SS Tahiti/Lost at sea', 1938 Britain to Perth per "Calpurnia" with 'DAMAGED BY WATER/THROUGH ACCIDENT/TO FLYING BOAT' h/s in red, and to New Zealand with 'RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION/EX FLYING BOAT CALPURNIA' in violet, also 1953 "Comet" and 1954 "Moose Jaw", "Prestwick" & "Singapore" (2) crash covers, plus three other items, mixed condition as to be expected.
