BARRED NUMERALS: 1850s-1860s covers comprising '31' of Colac on Perf 12 4d Emblems (large White Scratch), '37' (rated RR) with fine 'ELEPHANT BRIDGE' b/s, '70' with rare postmaster's endorsement "Queenscliff/Decr 18 1856" on the flap (affected by opening tear), '84' (RR) of Winchelsea, very fine '163' (RR) of Cressy, and '264' of Landsborough (poor condition), good to very fine strikes, condition variable.
