Description: 1854 envelope to Scotland "pr Antelope via Melbourne" with extraordinary franking of Imperf Laureates Plate III 2d Prussian blue x9 singles (mostly with full margins) tied by bars cancels of Sydney (b/s), very fine "tombstone" 'PAID/LIVERPOOL/SHIP/...' transit d/s in red on the face, Scottish boxed transit & 'AYR' arrival b/s, small fault at upper-left where folded to improve the overall appearance. Ex Burrus & "Manwood" (1995; realised $US2420).
