Description: MISSENT MARKINGS - HANDSTAMPS: boxed 'MISSENT/TO/HOBART' handstamps comprising Type 1 (no nick in L/H frame) on 1904 PPC Swansea to Launceston; Type 2a (nick in L/H frame) with Reversed 'N' (unfortunately partly obscured by Postage Due 2d) on soiled 1906 PPC from 'HUONVILLE' (inverted name) to Lovett; and Type 2b ('N' repaired) on 1907 PPC Sheffield to Harford. [The Reversed 'N' - Ex McNamee - is the only recorded example] (Qty 3)
