Description: THOMAS HAM: 2d grey SG 10 vertical pair, margins just shaved to good except at top where a bit cut-into, faults but of good facial appearance, part-o.g., 12,000+. Ex Wawn. Rodney Perry Certificate (2009) states "...extremely rare, Kellow mentions an unused block of 4...from which this is the right-hand pair" (and presumably the equal largest recorded multiple). [Gary Diffen's fine single sold for 5875 (2007): the catalogue stated only 6 unused examples are known including two defective pairs. Note the frameline is apparent between the units]
