Description: 1860 (Nov 22) entire to Switzerland with scarce franking of Octagonal 1/- Perf 12 single & pair plus Queen-on-Throne Rouletted 6d, poor BN '25' of 'HEPBURN' (poor oval b/s), endorsed "Registered" on the face & signed by the sender "Giuseppe Strozzi" on the flap as required by the regulations, very fine 'REGISTERED/MELBOURNE' transit cds in red on the face plus British '[crown]/REGISTERED' h/s, 'LONDON/REGISTERED' d/s & 'PD'-in-oval all in red on the face, various French & Swiss transits including very fine boxed rate-calculation handstamp, some internal reinforcing. An attractive & very "busy" cover.
