Description: TWO PENCE: 2d greyish blue SG 17 block of 4, margins just touched - at upper-left - to large with outer framelines in places, small tear between the lower units & very minor thin spot at the top, bars cancels of Sydney, Cat 680++. A very rare multiple. [Our vendor states that only one other SG 17 used block of 4 has been recorded. That is a superb item with sheet margins at top & base - Ex Caspary, Boker, Manwood & Rivett-Carnac - which sold for 28,200 at auction in 2004]
