Description: 1854 entire to Sydney with Laureates 2d (margins good to large) & 3d yellow-green horizontal pair (good even margins except at the base where just touched to just clear), poor numeral cancels of 'WEST MAITLAND' (oval b/s) & largely very fine strike of the scarce 'REGISTERED/MAITLAND.' h/s, Sydney arrival b/s. Very attractive. [Maitland PO opened 1/9/1829. In 1852 it was renamed West Maitland but the registration h/s was not replaced]
