Description: 1891 quadruple-rate cover with Balhannah Freehold Gold Mining Co imprint on the flap, to a mining company in Melbourne with 2d & 9d - rare on inter-Colonial mail - tied by Adelaide squared-circle, 'REGISTERED/No' h/s, vertical fold at left & a few tonespots, minor repaired peripheral tears consistent with the contents having been rather bulky. [The rate was 2d per Żoz x4 + 3d registration]
